4.  Third And Fourth Generation Obese


Third Generation Obese

1.  The 1980s and 1990s were the Yuppie Years for the Second Generation obese. There was tons of money to be made, trendy restaurants to go to, power suits to be worn and that BMW to buy.

2.  These Yuppies were either the Double Income No Kids crowd, ("DINKS") or, if they had kids, their children were the lost “latch key kids” i.e. kids whose parents weren’t home when they left for school or returned from school. These kids are the Third Generation obese. They were left to fend for themselves foodwise, and inevitably hit the mall with their friends – which is where all the franchised fast food outlets were.  

3.  These pigs were also the first generation tech savvy couch potatoes who were born from the mid 1970s onwards. Remember, IBM introduced its desktop computer in 1982. Some of these dudes have gone on to become internet billionaires - albeit, fat ones.

 
Fourth Generation Obese

1.  These pigs, or actually piglets are still young, (or claim to be young) born in the 1990s onwards. They’re also “latch key kids”. With 3 generations of fast food in their genes, these piggies are the second generation of tech savvy couch potatoes with tons of digital gadgets and awesome technical knowledge.

2.  They’re also getting fat and showing other interesting traits like Attention Deficit Disorder, Porn Addiction, Autism and Depression – at alarmingly early ages.  This is happening notwithstanding the surging interest in organic foods and fitness.
