When a small build guy has spent time in the gym and developed a hot muscular body that atrracts attention,  the str8s point to him and say, "yeah, because he's not tall he doesn't have self-esteem, so he went to the gym and over-compensated.  The guy's just insecure and trying to hide it behind a wall of muscle."

But when a tall guy has spent time in the gym and developed a hot muscular body that attracts attention, the str8s point to him and say, "yeah he's hot! Just look at that self-confidence! He worked out really hard in the gym and it shows."

Where did str8s get this perverse notion that mere height alone equals the degree of self-esteem and self-confidence?  If they bothered to read the biographies of some of the champion hetero and homo "tall" bodybuilders, they would discover that many of them were gangly, skinny, social and academic misfits that turned to bodybuilding specifically as a means of raising the self-confidence which they so chronically lacked.

If str8s looked more carefully, they would find that shorter guys often have naturally beautiful proportions and symmetry - unlike the "tall" dudes who have lousy posture (conveniently blamed on low ceilings, low door frames, chairs are too small etc) and lousy proportions: legs are too long in relation to the body,  pear-shaped frame, flabby ass,  non-existent ass, or that the top half of the body is out of whack with the part from the waist down.

The idea of Quality being perfectly scaled down, apparently doesn't compute with str8s still hung up on Quantity and super-sizing.

There is no shortage of hot muscled smaller build hunks that (mentally, emotionally and aesthetically) can absolutely hold their own against their "taller" counterparts. Just like there is no shortage of hot muscled smaller build hunks who are just as well hung (or better) than their "taller" bros.

Tell that to the str8s.
