Dead Man Dancing

1.  The Mega-Gay Dance Parties
2.  Gay Dance Parties Signalling Their Virtue
3.  Gay Media Message On HIV/AIDS Ambiguous
4.  The Hook Of The Gay Dance Parties
5.  "Manageability"

1.  The Mega-Gay Dance Parties

1.  There’s no shortage of gay media coverage of the mega-gay dance parties and raves held around the rainbow universe. Ski Week, Fleet Week, White Party, Black And Blue Party, Pride Week etc. Not only do they serve as circuit pilgrimages – the Fag Haj where the recently converted meet the faithful, the faithful meet the true believers and the true believers meet the High Queens and DJ Gods – but they also attract fag celebs, porn stars, porn talent scouts and the assorted ass trash that passes as a wannabe’s entourage.

2.  It’s easy to get swept up in the whole thing – the non-stop partying, the crush of sweaty guys, the dizzying array of bulging muscle, the slick dance moves, that relentless beat, the strobes, losing all sense of time, the blowjobs on the dancefoor – and the chemical and amphetamine canapés so generously offered as communion.

2.  Gay Dance Parties Signalling Their Virtue

1.  Many gay mega-dance parties loudly tout that a portion of their proceeds will go for AIDS care. Sounds hunky dory right..? Until it gets put into context.

3.  Gay Media Message On HIV/AIDS Ambiguous

1.  The gay media message about HIV/AIDS is ambiguous and ambivalent. It has 3 concurrent streams:

2.  First, there was no sign of a vaccine. Now we're told one's either available, or very shortly will be.

3.  Second, AIDS is “manageable” via a smorgasbord of medication. The term “manageable” infuriates FuelMix. It’s a politically correct synonym for coping at less than optimum levels with something chronic. It ignores the wretched physical anguish that accompanies AIDS. Insidiously, it perpetuates the acceptability of human suffering via polite nomenclature. FuelMix has more to say about “manageable” further on in this post.

4.  Third, fags are getting infected at much earlier ages.

4.  The Hook Of The Gay Dance Parties

1.  Gay mega-dance parties are tons of fun. But the warm and fuzzy feeling that fags get by being told that a portion of the proceeds go for AIDS and HIV, are offset by the entrenched culture of drug-taking at those parties. Those drugs are consumed for the sole purpose of evaporating inhibitions and making the fag more sexual. The impaired judgment leads to unsafe practices and the fag gets infected.

2.  So the gay rave is not only a rite of passage, but also a viral roulette game to bet on whether the fag makes it from Twink to Thirty.

3.  But consider this. FuelMix hasn’t seen very much being done about fags and their drug addictions. Why? Because fags have convinced themselves that they are “recreational drug users”. Ergo, there’s no problem.

4.  So, the commonly seen drug-fucked sexual judgment at gay raves is the product that keeps the raves in business, attracts thousands of fags, and provides the perfect opportunity for organizers and sponsors to market their altruistic side by doling out a bit for HIV and AIDS while ignoring the drug issue.

5.  Therefore, the link between addiction and infection becomes extremely profitable and politically correct.

5.  "Manageability"

1.  Back to the issue of “manageability”. Note the similarity between taking a drug cocktail for HIV/AIDS and taking a drug cocktail at raves. Both are for manageability. One is for managing survival. The other is for managing escapism.

Let’s get one thing perfectly clear. FuelMix has nothing against mega-gay raves and after-parties (other than cringing at the idea of being seen downtown in club wear and glow sticks at 8 am by his alarmed office buddies in suits and briefcases).

Corporate Gay Activism 5

1.  Western Corporates And  Hong Kong Gay Rights
2.  A Warning From FuelMix

Underlining, highlighting and bold print by FuelMix:

1.  Western Corporates And Hong Kong Gay Rights

The LGBTIQ social movement in the U.S. originated from the fearless voices of grassroots activists and came to a fever pitch during the Stonewall riots in 1969, when gay men and women, drag queens and transgender people, together, fended off police officers raiding their safe space. Much has changed since, especially in big metropolitan cities like Hong Kong where the power to influence social change has begun shifting from grassroots activists to corporate initiatives mostly backed by international financial institutions.

“Finance and banking, after all, is a major industry in Hong Kong,” says James Tong, the openly gay Citi’s Managing Director and Regional Head of Global Shipping & Logistics. “It’s a capitalist society and the people who bring in the dough have a say in things.”

I know what you’re thinking. The finance industry is not typically known for diversity and inclusion, and top finance executives still tend to be white, straight and male – even in Hong Kong – considering the ratio of expats to those in top positions. Tong, however, believes things are changing.

I met with him at Clifford Chance law firm’s 10th annual Pride Art Exhibition, which is packed with top-level LGBTIQ corporate executives (aka power gays) and their allies celebrating queer art and emerging queer artists. “You see, Hong Kong is catching up quickly to cities like New York,” he says. “We are willing to talk about the issues and how sexual orientation should be a non-issue. At the end of the day, the most important thing for a company is to find talent, the crème de la crème, regardless of age, gender, religion, race and sexual orientation. Finance should only be conservative in the sense that people are concerned about the bottom line and driving profit.

Tong would be the guy who knows how the perception of homosexuality in the finance sector has evolved, having been in it for the past 21 years. “I remember after returning from my studies in Australia I got my first job and my boss told me that coming out might affect my career." He continues: “But since then, that was the only incident. I perform well at my job, I’m visible and out, and when I had a partner, I would not hesitate to bring him to corporate events."

For the past few years, major banks and corporations [in Hong Kong] have taken a stand for LGBTIQ rights. HSBC launched the “Celebrate Pride, Celebrate Unity” campaign, which saw their iconic lions, Stephen and Stitt, painted in rainbow colors. And more recently, Goldman Sachs and Credit Suisse along with 10 other financial companies are supporting an expat lesbian couple in a legal battle against the Hong Kong government for the recognition of their relationship. Tong too, along with his colleagues have taken initiatives for the betterment of the LBGTIQ community in the workplace by founding the Citi Pride Network chapter in Hong Kong back in 2014 .

The 44-year-old says: “I thought, as an openly gay man in a senior position, it is my responsibility to make sure there is a safe place at Citi for LGBTIQ people and make sure it’s reflected when it comes to hiring. I believe LGBTIQ people often work twice as hard to prove themselves.” Besides the Hong Kong office, Tong is also responsible for being the bridge to management for LGBTIQ colleagues in other Asian countries, some of which where homosexuality is still illegal. “Individuals in these countries might not always want to speak up, so I will help them get what they deserve. Coming out is a very personal matter, and I never encourage people to come out just for the sake of coming out. But when someone is ready, needs advice, someone to rely on, I’m here.”

Workplace culture in Hong Kong and the rest of the world’s major cities are still far from perfect, and Tong acknowledges this and remains cautious. “Just because companies have diversity and inclusion programmes doesn’t mean there won’t be individuals that choose to be ignorant.”

Gay Couples Touring Asia

Probably the best explanation we've seen...

"Why should I spend my tourist dollars in a country that wants to throw me in jail?!"

This was our dilemma before setting off for our big travel adventures in Asia – as a gay couple.

If it isn’t illegal (like in Sri Lanka, Singapore, the Maldives, Malaysia, India, Myanmar…), then it’s certainly not truly welcomed (think Indonesia, China or Mongolia).

A few (like Nepal and Vietnam) have taken proactive steps to start to protect their LGBT community instead of criminalising them.

And some have gone further to not only protect their LGBT community, but to embrace, support them and in addition, actively promote gay tourism: Japan, Thailand, Taiwan and the Philippines.

So as a gay traveller, does that mean you shouldn’t visit countries like India or Myanmar? Are you really under any practical danger visiting a country like Malaysia or the Maldives? Should you take that hard line approach and avoid visiting some of the most beautiful areas of our planet just because of some really archaic, backwards laws?

After over 18 months travelling as a gay couple in Asia, here’s a few lessons we learnt and hope we can relay to all gay travellers in this post:
  1. Ignore the anti-gay laws: as a foreigner you are completely safe!
  2. This is because it’s one rule for locals, another for tourists.
  3. Despite anti-gay laws, it IS ethical to spend money in these countries.
  4. Going out there as a tourist is more effective to their LGBT community then a blanket ban on visiting.

 1.  Ignore the anti-gay laws: as a foreigner you are completely safe!

One common opinion we found in every single country we visited: most people just couldn’t care less about you. Not in a bad way of course. Their priorities are their jobs, family, paying their bills, educating their children, putting food on the table.

No one heterosexual was ever interested in what the Nomadic Boys got up to in the bedroom (or bathtub…!):

At no stage during our travels in Asia did we ever feel threatened or in danger for being gay.

At worst, the gay club we went to in Delhi was busted by the police at 1am. The policemen were using the anti gay laws to get a bribe from the club promoters. Everyone else was left alone and told to leave via the back door.

We are not obviously gay when you first meet us, we don’t mince about waving a rainbow flag, nor do we show any public displays of affection like holding hands or kissing (we don’t do this anyway back home in London/Lyon).

At the very worst, we got the whole“double bed – are you sure?!” or “are you twins/brothers?” type of questions a lot.

2.  One rule for locals, another for tourists

In every country we visited in Asia, gay tourists are always treated differently compared to LGBT locals.

Our friend Kaluu from Colombo pointed out that whilst homosexuality is illegal in Sri Lanka, the police almost always turn a blind eye to tourists: no one wants to get involved with foreign embassies if it ever came to that.

In Malaysia, we met may gay locals, really excited to show us round. However, they asked us to not use their name on our blog for fear of negative implications on their work and by their society.

Yet the hotels we worked with throughout Malaysia were delighted to embrace and welcome us as a gay couple and promote pink tourism, like The Four Seasons on Langkawi island who arranged this lovers ritual ceremony for us.

Tourism is big business, so foreigners will always be given special treatment despite the homophobic laws.

The only exception is Brunei: a tiny country on Borneo island, which is financially independent, funded by oil, so no interest in tourism. And also the autonomous Aceh province in North Indonesia.

In both Brunei and Aceh, extreme Sharia Law applies, so both gay locals and LGBT tourists risk some form of public whipping and/or death by stoning.

3.  Despite anti-gay laws, it IS ethical to spend money in these countries

Is it ethical to spend money in countries which criminalise their LGBT communities?

We say a big fat yes of course!

We have been criticised for promoting LGBT travel to countries like the Maldives, Malaysia, Sri Lanka etc, but we always question the true value of a blanket ban on gay tourists visiting such countries.

The money you spend on holiday mainly goes to the local businesses you are eating at, staying at or touring with.

In other words, the people benefiting are every day people like you and me (maybe straight, maybe gay), who simply want to make a living for themselves, and not the politicians who are creating and promoting anti gay laws.

In most cases, these local businesses probably don’t even agree or care for these laws.

Most importantly of all, if you visit a gay owned or gay friendly establishment during your travels, your money helps them flourish in a society, which is likely to be fighting to close them down or make their lives difficult.

Your presence there is invaluable in supporting the local LGBT community and businesses, as well as helping them flourish.

And finally, we strongly believe that meeting and engaging with gay locals is far more productive then refusing to visit their country in the first place.

4.  So go on and book your flight to Delhi, Male, Colombo etc

We strongly believe boycotting a country like India, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Maldives, Sri Lanka etc is counter productive.

Actually going out there and supporting LGBT owned businesses and making friends and interacting with the local LGBT community is far more effective then boycotting their country.

Imagine you were in their shoes, would you prefer your gay sisters abroad to ignore you, or come over and embrace and support you?

We sure know what we’d choose.

And you’ll make heaps of friends along the way!

Flight Attendants

COMPLETED 27 SEPTEMBER 2017

1.  Four GWM Flight Attendants
2.  Male Flight Attendants:  Str8 vs Gay

1.  Four GWM Flight Attendants

1.  FuelMix dropped into the University of Fag Bar (pending accreditation) and found himself on the periphery of a cluster of 4 male flight attendants huddled around a bar table. Think of an anal sphincter that shrieks and twitches; and the fascinated reader has a good picture of the animated Faggotry going down at that table.

2.  FuelMix is ambivalent about gay flight attendants. With few exceptions, those he's met or fucked have ultimately turned out to be a "What the hell was I thinking......?" aftermath.  As Joel Barker pointed out in his book, "Paradigms", the only thing that survives when a paradigm shifts, is wisdom. In the same way as FuelMix resolved not to fly certain airlines - particularly those from God's Own Country - FuelMix resolved to be much more choosy before fucking a gay flight attendant.

3.  Realizing that the anal sphincter of just-arrived, social retards from God's Own Country would provide nutritious blog fodder, FuelMix turned his gaze on them.

4.  All four were white, middle aged, frumpy and flaming. Instead of engaging in conversation, each vied for attention in a style that was declamatory and operatic.The  fag didn't make so much a conversational point but rather, proclaimed his views in a manner that was partly Anthem and partly Aria.

5.  At first, FuelMix thought their conversational style was a humorous charade. Then he realized that it was entrenched. There's nothing worse than an adult fag pathetically trapped in his mannerisms. Worse, with those kind of mannerisms, the 4 fags would find it difficult to operate in any environment outside a pressurized cabin, except perhaps a hair salon or men's retail, balls-deep in the fag ghetto.

6.  True to form, the 4 flight attendants exhibited all the characteristics that FuelMix has learned to avoid when assessing fuckability:

  • They hadn't slept in 24 hours;
  • The drinks were flowing thick and fast;
  • They were shrouded in a haze of cigarette smoke;
  • They were wheezing and coughing;
  • The were completely up to date on the latest drug du jour, when to take it, how to take it, how to ride the high, how to recover before showing up for the next sector's flight;

7.  It was a fair bet that regular sleep deprivation, jet lag, booze, cigarettes and drugs had resulted in all 4 of them wandering the planet with compromised immune systems;

2.  Male Flight Attendants:  Str8 vs Gay

1.  One of the contradictions that FuelMix has wrestled with over the years is that he has tons of respect for straight male flight attendants (yes fags, there are some) and considerably less for the gay ones.

The Straight Ones

2.  Off the job, the straight male FA's are thoughtful, considerate, emotionally mature, sometimes married with kids, always polite, stop to talk, invite you for a coffee, introduce their girlfriends.  These guys actually read books, listen to self-improvement courses -  just all around nice guys who are fun to hang out with. And they know FuelMix is gay.

The Gay Ones: Version 1

3.  By contrast, Version 1 of gay FA's are weird.  Off the job, the fag attitude and the Bose headphones kick in. Make eye contact with them in the gym, accidentally or on purpose, and witness the famous head-swivel and the "Tsk, Tsk" sound of feigned annoyance.  These are the guys who will check YOU out in the Locker Room AND the showers, then look the other way when you catch them. They are the ones with the perpetual look of annoyance and the "I'm too good looking for you" attitude. (Hint: these are the ones who are the most effeminate, but will never admit it).

The Gay Ones:  Version 2

4.  Version 2 FA's swing to the other extreme:  ultra-congeniality to get to your cock.  These are the guys who will:
  • make instant eye contact in the gym;
  • flash a megawatt smile in the free weights area;
  • check you out in the gym mirror and shyly lick their lips;
  • find an excuse to compliment your bod;
  • ask you to spot for them on the bench press so they can exhale onto your thighs;
  • enquire about your career, which cities you've visited, looking for gay clues, whether you might drop the name of a gay neighbourhood.  They'll innocently mention the names of known gay bars in a few cities to see if you'll react;
  • repeat several times which airline they work for and their favourite type of aircraft;
  • follow you into the Locker Room to keep the conversation going as you undress.  If they like what they see when you're totally naked, they'll compliment you more and offer their number;
Inspired from the TV series, we call Version 2, "CSI Airbus-Boeing"."  That's because they turn their workout - and yours - into a forensic investigation of your body and your sexuality.  They're kinda fun in a limited way for an off night.

5.  You'll know Version 2 is getting to Fourth Base when they gently stroke your body, earnestly confirming that this IS the right muscle group that benefits from the exercise. Then they'll throw in a remark like, "I see you're wearing "Addicted"....that is such a HOT brand.....looks REALLY good on you..!! I MUST get to Barcelona..!!"  As if "Addicted" is a badge worn by body-conscious, body-flaunting, hot gay men. (Hint: it is).

The Gay Ones:  Version 3

6.  These are the middle aged, usually white, close-to-retirement, grey, fat queens.  Sorta like the ones we talked about at the beginning of this post.  They missed the AIDS bullets in the 80s and 90s and couldn't care less.  But they are also the ones constantly hammering their immune systems via drink, cigarettes, poppers and drugs.

7.  Version 3 claim to have gone to college and graduated in say, International Relations.  Somewhere along the line that transformed into bragging about cock they sucked between Maine, Mexico and Mauritius.

8.  Bitchy, venomous and diva-like, because of their apparent seniority, you'd think they were the ones actually flying the planes, instead of steering the trolleys.  We avoid these ones.

The Gay Ones:  Version 4

9.  These are the hidden gems.  Again, they're usually middle aged, close-to-retirement, white or Asian.  These are the ones who absorbed the full horror of AIDS in the 80s and 90s, probably lost some friends, or significant other having looked after them.  They understand mortality and how precious Life really is.  Many of them are already alone in their life.  They'll mix with their colleagues, but don't really regard them as friends.  They're very careful about their health.

10.  There is something angelic about Version 4 when you meet them.  They've been through a lot, but they keep it to themselves.  They talk softly and carefully.  They are born to serve - there is a dignified submissiveness and discretion about them.  They're not so much Flight Attendants, as Airborne Butlers.

11.  They will softly ask for your number or email so that they can contact you when they next come to town. And they will. Their correspondence will be courteous and professional.

12. They will have picked the restaurant in your city and made the reservation, a quiet corner table and a view.  Over dinner, they'll present you with a small gift they picked up in another city 'coz it reminded them of you.

13.  Then they'll suggest a walk along the waterfront, gently touching your hand now and then. They're not relying on their looks.  They're relying on their class.  And when they shyly invite you back to their hotel,  their room will be pristine, the lighting just right, fluffy towels and a bathrobe for you afterwards, their compliments quiet and genuine.

14.  And their sexual dedication to service and bodyworship and giving themselves up to be fucked every which way, multiple times...?  Mindblowing.  Utterly mindblowing.

15.  Then you'll get the assisted shower, the towel and the fluffy bathrobe.  They'll help you dress and they'll walk you down to the hotel lobby.

16.  As they leave town, they'll send a Thank You note from the airport, with a request to meet again.  They'll keep their word.

Goji Studios (Gym And Wellness)

Various locations (in the premises of the defunct California Fitness):

  • Whampoa (April 2017)
  • Tsim Sha Tsui (June 2017)
  • Mong Kok (June 2017)
  • Kowloon Bay (June 2017)
  • Central (June 2017)
  • Causeway Bay (June 2017)
  • Wanchai (July 2017)
Web:  https://gojistudios.com.hk
Email: hello@gojistudios.com.hk
Tel: 2530 3038

Walking down Granville Road last night, FuelMix was approached by a gym marketing guy who handed  FuelMix a flyer for Goji Studios, a gym and wellness centre.  It was located on the 9th, 10th and 11th floors of The One, Tsim Sha Tsui.

"Aren't those the premises of California Fitness..?" enquired FuelMix

"Yes", said the marketing guy, "but we are NOT California Fitness at all.  We give you the choice of 1 year or 6 month membership.  And it is all fixed price.  Everyone pays the same in all our branches.  The basic membership is about HK$500.00 per month.

(Underlining  highlighting and bold print by FuelMix):

A newly established gym chain has quietly rented seven premises previously occupied by the shuttered California Fitness, with the first to open in Hung Hom next month.

Goji Studios, owned by a local consortium led by financial services firm Opus, was offered significant rent discounts after the seven prime locations had been left vacant for 10 months, the Post has learned.

Unlike California Fitness, whose members paid multiple years of membership fees in advance, Goji charges on a monthly basis to reassure customers who were left in limbo by the former chain’s sudden collapse.

About 64,000 members and 700 employees were hit last July as the operator of California Fitness, mYoga and Leap closed all its 12 outlets across the city amid unpaid debts amounting to more than HK$100 million. The gym chain had earlier been criticised by the Consumer Council for using intimidatory and misleading sales practices.

“We are not California Fitness,” Ricky Cheuk Ming-yin, chief operating office of Goji Studios told the Post in an email.

The former Hong Kong rugby sevens player said the closure of California Fitness had provided a “special investment opportunity” to take over numerous vacated premises well suited for a fitness club.

Opus has taken over the former chain’s premises in Causeway Bay, Wan Chai, Central, Hung Hom, Mong Kok, Kowloon Bay and Tsim Sha Tsui. They would be launched before the end of August, Cheuk said.

It is understood that most Goji Studios outlets have been leased for five years at a total monthly rent of about HK$10 million. Its Hung Hom branch received a 13 per cent discount for a monthly rent of HK$1.3 million.

The consortium is currently in discussions with landlords to rent other vacant premises once used by California Fitness.

“Opening seven locations in such a short time requires sizeable financial resources. Opus has secured ample financial resources to support a successful business,” Cheuk said, assuring customers that his chain would not collapse like California Fitness.

Despite expensive rents and stiff competition from smaller rivals, Cheuk was confident about prospects for the fitness industry, with a plan to ride the wave of family interest in health.

“Our market research has found that Hong Kong people place great importance on health, and fitness is a growing industry,”he said, citing a 2015 survey that showed 69 per cent of respondents placed health and fitness as their top priority.

“In addition to sports lovers and health and wellness enthusiastics, we also target families and kids. We aim to offer activities that adults and kids can enjoy together as valuable family time,” he said.

The chain charges HK$588 a month for basic membership and HK$888 for a premium plan.

About 300 people had joined the chain as of last Friday, a sales manager told the Post. Many of them are former members of California Fitness........

"They're not doing any hard sell", said the muscleboy working in BC Connection in Tsim Sha Tsui, "they know what will happen if they try....it's a fixed rate membership.  Everyone pays the same.  But the guys working there are the staff and trainers who used to work in California Fitness and Pure Fitness".

PPnP (Pee, Porn & Preview)

Out there in Fagland, it takes a lot to faze FuelMix.  Not only has he done things that would make Sodom and Gomorrah look like shrines, but he tries his best to enthusiastically cavort outside the silly paradigm, idiosyncracy, hypocrisy, duplicity and other behavioural faecal matter that are the skid marks of today's urban faggotry.

But every once in a while something happens that just sneaks up on FuelMix.

Tripping along the SoHo district of Very Rich Megacity,  FuelMix felt the urge to pee. (Pineapple juice tends to do that).  Ducking into a well known public toilet, FuelMix was not surprised to see the usual suspects doing what fags do in public toilets all over the world.

Standing at the urinal pissing contentedly, FuelMix was approached by a GAM, an obvious fag, with a large backpack:

Fag:  Sir, you like sex?

FM:  Huh?

Fag (unzips backpack):  You like sex..? (pulls out laminated promo material for gay DVDs)

FM (totally fazed):  Oh.......

Fag:  Yeah, many sex video here (points to backpack) You like?  Good price for you ! (pulls out another wad of laminated promo material for gay DVDs)  Here.....have a look (shoves wad into FuelMix's hand, notwithstanding FuelMix is using both hands while he's pissing)

FM:  Dude I'm pissing.....can't you see?

Fag (grinning):  Yeah I see......you have very sexy big cock..!  You sex model..?

FM: No. (still pissing)

Fag:  You like preview..? I show you....( shoves promo material into backpack, pulls out small notebook computer from backpack, flips open screen, pushes "Play", shoves notebook screen under FuelMix's nose while he's still pissing......gay porn playing)

Fag:  Good price for you..!! You like?

FM (finished pissing and zipping up):  Uh.... no thanks (glances at other fags standing around rubbing their crotches)

Fag (following FM to sink as he washes his hands):  Vewwy good price for sexy boy like you..!! See more..!! Make choice..!! (waves more promo material for gay porn)

FM:  No thanks, see ya.

Fag (retreats to toilet cubicle to wait for the next customer).

Back in the sunlight, FuelMix stopped to methodically replay in his head what just happened.  Not only was it surreal but it was a tour de force of business marketing.  What better place to hawk gay porn than in a public toilet frequented by fags..??!!  Talk about finding the niche market, talk about getting clients to come to you, talk about a Unique Selling Proposition, talk about making a compelling presentation with visual aids and a streaming movie too..!!  And all this while the customer is streaming his own piss and can't run away..!!!

FuelMix grinned at the sheer audacity and utter brilliance of the marketing tactic.  This was definitely one for the record books and a testament to the entrepreneurial intelligence here in Very Rich Megacity.

FuelMix hopes the fag's porn sales are flushed with success.

Sorry No Asians..? Think Again

Chinese Company Buys Grindr - Completely

Underlining highlighting and bold print by FuelMix:

The world’s largest gay social media app is now owned by the Chinese, after a little-known Beijing tech company agreed to acquire full control of America’s Grindr for US$240 million, and fully engage in its daily operations.

Beijing Kunlun Tech, a game developer owned by 38-year-old billionaire Zhou Yahui, said on Wednesday it planned to pay US$152 million to buy the remaining 38 per cent stake in Grindr that it does not already own. Kunlun paid about US$88 million for a 62 per cent stake of the social media app in January.

The takeover comes at a time when China, the world’s most populous nation but lagging the West in achieving equal legal status for its homosexual citizens, is cultivating a lucrative industry catering to the social needs of the gay community. China, estimated by a study to have an LGBT group bigger than the entire population of France, is also changing its attitudes towards this community.

Grindr, founded in 2009 in the United States, is the world’s largest LGBT social-network application, counting over 27 million registered users across 196 countries and territories across the world.“It is of strategic importance for us to fully engage in the daily operations of Grindr and make it our development milestone,” Kunlun said in a statement.

The Chinese company expected to bank on Grindr as a new growth engine, as the eight-year-old app proved to be a cash cow that had posted US$13.7 million in net profit for 2014, thanks to its rapidly growing membership.

While it is uncertain how the marriage between a Chinese game developer and an American gay dating app will bolster each other’s prospects, Grindr’s founder and chief executive Joel Simkhai described the deal in a blog post as “a huge vote of confidence in our vision to connect gay men to even more of the world around them."

China’s gay dating and hook-up industry is still in its infancy, partly because homosexuality has long been a cultural taboo. But the thriving LGBT communities in big cities such as Beijing and Shanghai have already led to the remarkable success of Blued, a Chinese gay dating app start-up, which boasts of over 27 million registered users  – almost on par with Grindr.

Blued, founded in 2012 by former policement Ma Baoli , last year completed its latest round of fundraising, boosting its net worth to US$300 million, exceeding the US$240 million price tag for Grindr. It has also extended its footprint overseas, competing head on with Grindr and Jack’d.  Chinese tech giants have scrambled to invest in social networking apps, which normally make money out of charging members fees for exclusive access or through advertising, with Alibaba and Tencent's  stakes in Snapchat.

Although homosexuality is irreconcilable with the mainstream values in China, the LGBT community has made huge gains in social acceptance since homosexuality was decriminalised in 1997......

But analysts warn of regulatory risks to gay-focused businesses as the country’s stringent regulations designed to stop dissemination of “pornography” could easily bar users’ access to gay social media apps or censor relevant contents.

FuelMix says:

1.  On the same day that Taiwan became the first Chinese society to legalize same-sex marriage, a Mainland Chinese company made an outright purchase of Grindr, the world's largest gay social media app.

2.  Two Chinese companies now own the 2 biggest gay social apps, one of which is US-based and the other Chinese-based:
  • Beijing Kunlun Tech - Grindr;
  • Blued -
3.  The assumed result..?  The Chinese now know the location, age, stats, sexual habits and sexual history of virtually every gay man on the planet.

4.  Just think how useful that information could be.....

Spaghetti and Sleazeballs

FuelMix went to a business luncheon hosted by a gay business group. He’d never been and was curious.

There they were: Lipstick Lesbians, tons of gays in black reeking of high-end department store fragrance. FuelMix was in a smart suit, neatly accessorized. The white Maitre d’ winked as he showed FuelMix to his shared table.

The table companions swapped business cards but FuelMix instinctively knew he’d toss them once he got home. He didn't appear to have much in common with this crowd.  Perhaps he was at the wrong table.

The conversation was light and airy. FuelMix received lingering gazes and strokes on the wrist as his table fags (who'd obviously read the same books on visual and tactile communications in business) emphasized their conversational and professional points. Lunch was served and FuelMix had some nouvelle spaghetti creation. There was a Speaker and everyone applauded politely.

After the Speaker finished and mid-way through dessert, FuelMix needed to piss. Excusing himself, he began to navigate the tables towards the Maitre d’. Halfway during the voyage, FuelMix passed a white 50-something fag in a grey suit. The details are kinda fuzzy – all FuelMix remembers is a hairy paw that emerged and latched itself onto his crotch. FuelMix tripped slightly – the paw on the crotch had stopped forward motion. Several people turned around and there was silence. The Maitre d’ looked horrified. FuelMix went ballistic and instinctively grabbed the old fag’s throat. The hairy paw dropped immediately.

Alone at the urinal, the Maitre d’ entered to apologize. He was assured none was needed. He smiled coyly and lingered. FuelMix gave him several views of his cock, then washed his hands. Maitre d’ gave him a towel, gently kissed him on the cheek and escorted him back to the table.

Moral: lunch may require forks and knives, but gay men eat with eyes and hands.

Pink Dollar Mafia 6

SERIES COMPLETED 2 MAY 2017

Doing Business With Fags
A True Story And A Warning
Number 2

Fags Working In The Business
1.  Once Upon A Time...

1.   A Gay** professional Acquaintance told FuelMix he was thinking of buying a business in a trendy part of town. FuelMix loves business and asked for more details. Gay Acquaintance said it was a retail service business, in a great location, good cash flow and about 12 employees, mostly fags.**

2.  Being Sensible And Brutal

2.  FuelMix’s sharp features clouded over and he warned his Gay Acquaintance of his personal mottoes:
(1) “Never Do Serious Business With Fags - Unless There Is Major Heterosexual Professional Backup Whom You Can Trust. Tell Your Entire Backup Team You're Dealing With Fags."

(2) "In A Business Deal,  Never Succumb To Sexual Flattery From A Fag Or His Fag Professional Advisers.  They'll Try It At Some Point.  If They Do,  Deal's Off."

(3) "If You Played With This Fag In The Sauna, or his business partner(s) (or his professional advisers),  Deal's Off."

3.  The Deal

3.  Gay Acquaintance proceeded to rattle out the statistics of the business and showed FuelMix the figures. While the figures were not impressive, they had potential with the right management. The cash flow was there and could be sweetened. Gay Acquaintance was going ahead to negotiate the deal.

4.   FuelMix had 2 questions:

(1)  “Was the seller straight or a fag?
“Straight”, said the gay acquaintance, “and he seems very nice”

(2)  “So..... he’s selling off 12 fag employees AND the business...?
“You could say that” replied gay acquaintance with a grin.

“Interesting”, muttered FuelMix to himself, "what does the seller know about the fags that he's not saying....?

4.  Uh...Oh...

5.  The first clue that something was going wrong came early in the Due Diligence. The “very nice” straight seller refused to disclose crucial aspects of the business, particularly employee information. He claimed the fag employees knew about the sale but for some unexplained reason he, and his business broker, were deliberately blocking access to them.

6.   The accounts didn’t seem to gel. Discrepancies abounded. The bookkeeper – who was not an employee, but also a fag - refused to cooperate with FuelMix's Gay Acquaintance and clammed up. Gay Acquaintance pressed on, anxious to do the deal.

7.  FuelMix discovered that the straight seller’s business broker, was a closet fag (but well known for sucking at the sauna gloryholes). FuelMix warned his Gay Acquaintance to get out of the deal - NOW.  It was a snake pit. But having battled this far, Gay Acquaintance wanted to buy the business. He had hopes and dreams.

8.   When the deal was finally signed, he looked exhausted. FuelMix was concerned.

5.  The Cascading Crash

9.   From Day One of the new ownership, Gay Acquaintance had nothing but trouble from the 12 employees, especially the fag employees. They did everything from stealing documents and inventory, picking verbal fights with Gay Acquaintance in full view of the clients, instigating clients to call up and abuse Gay Acquaintance over the phone with obscene threats, not showing up for work, bad mouthing Gay Acquaintance to the landlord, refusing to work at all, trashing the premises.

10.  And their reasons? The fag employees alleged that THEY had been promised by the straight seller that he would sell them the business. Considering they were living pay-cheque-to-pay-cheque, how they could have afforded it was anyone’s guess. Secondly, they didn’t like the additional (and perfectly reasonable) “controls” that FuelMix's Gay Acquaintance had put into place:

  • changing the locks to ensure that only management had 24 hour access to the premises;
  • tighter cash flow documentation and internal auditing;
  • tighter enforcement of working hours and punctuality;
  • increased security. Apparently,  the fag employees were using the premises as a fuck pad and drug party central on weekends.  The cleaners had complained of cocaine dust all over the place;

6.  Not The Afterparty...
    11.  The business crashed within weeks of FuelMix's Gay Acquaintance buying it.  It was horrifying to watch. He had done nothing wrong. He had followed the advice of his str8 lawyers and accountants to the letter.  Once they had sorted out the financials, the business was still OK to buy and had the potential to generate positive cash flow.  But his whole str8 professional team had failed to take into account - or perceive - the venomous nature of penniless fags. This behavioural trait doesn't show up on the Income And Expense Statement or the Balance Sheet. These were the fags who lived off the business via their pay cheques, but would destroy it if their prima donna egos and genitals were ruffled by legitimate business controls - or their misguided sense of "entitlement" had been "violated".

    12.  The Gay Acquaintance lost his entire investment in the deal.  He was utterly shattered and distraught.  For a few days, his family kept him on a Suicide Watch.

    7.  What Was Then Discovered...

    13.  Subsequently, there appeared to be evidence of collusion between the closet fag business broker, the fag bookkeeper, the straight seller and the fag employees to torpedo the business when the cash had changed hands.

    14.   FuelMix told his Gay Acquaintance he would not be surprised if the sale proceeds had been split amongst all of them.

    15.   And where are the fag employees now? FuelMix suspects they are still living pay cheque to pay cheque in someone else’s business, fucking and snorting in it on weekends, ready to destroy it at any time.

    ** Regular readers of this blog will know that FuelMix believes there are mental, emotional and behavioural differences between an independently thinking gay man and a generic urban fag.

    Is Out In ?

    This blog’s fascinated readers would probably forgive FuelMix for vomiting every time he sees an effervescent piece of pap, masquerading as reportage, that yet another himbo or “thinking woman’s stud” has confessed to being, or was threatened to be exposed as, a fag.

    Most of these silly tabloids do it for profit. But before hissing and spitting venom at them, it should be remembered that the himbo and ‘thinking woman’s stud” also acquiesce to being Outed. There is a huge difference between being Outed As A Form Of Ambush; and Agreeing To Be Outed (usually by way of self-proclamation or the granting of an exclusive interview, carefully negotiated in advance precisely for that purpose).

    It used to be the case that Outed As A Form Of Ambush was exactly that. Sort of like a paintball game. Splat!! You’re Hit!! You’re Out!! But not now…….Outing As A Form Of Ambush has morphed into something more genteel, more nuanced, more calculated, more politically correct, more consensual, more engineered to foster healthy debate over the family dinner table…….more Machiavellian in order to keep the sponsors coming.

    Sure, the Outed fag might initially squeal, flee, make a tearful admission, or a defiant declaration. But, everybody loves a happy ending (no pun intended) and after a period of reflection, a good talk with the agent, they usually end up supplementing their initial exposure on a day-time talk show or give a prime-time interview in soft focus with plenty of black and white photographs of their apparently idyllic yet tortured childhood “just knowing they were different”.

    With very few people having the sperm count to call it for what it is, Agreeing To Be Outed is the name of the New Gay Game. It’s a junket, in the same way that a movie star might make whistlestop tours to promote a film, take questions and wax lyrical about the character they play in it.

    Despite what fags might be reading and led to believe, Out is not In as per the way one might think. It’s morphed into something else because it’s commercially expedient, both for the Outer and the Outee. Agreeing To Be Outed is so effective and profitable that increasing numbers of straights are comfortable being described as “ambiguous” or “rumoured to be……….”

    Pink Dollar Mafia 5

    SERIES COMPLETED 2 MAY 2017

    Doing Business With Fags
    A True Story And A Warning
    Number 1

    Fags As Business Partners

     FuelMix would like to relate a true story of doing business with a fag.

    1.  Once Upon A Time...

    1.   Fag approached FuelMix and others to invest several tens of thousands of dollars in a restaurant in Fagland that fag would operate. FuelMix did his research and found that the space had been the site of several unsuccessful restaurants. That was puzzling.  For all the ballyhoo about the Pink Dollar, the captive market in the gay ghetto and the high pedestrian traffic, why were a succession of restaurants in the same premises failing....?  There was only one way to find out.  And that was to be Counter-Intuitive and put some very minimal financial skin in the game and observe the participants.

    2.  FuelMix's Financial Skin In The Game

    2.   Accordingly, FuelMix radically reduced the intial amount that he was prepared to invest and told fag to find the rest of the money elsewhere. If and when fag got the rest of the money, FuelMix would think about it again before putting any money in. Fuelmix also demanded and was given, a copy of the commercial lease of the premises that fag had just signed and further demanded to see the management accounts regularly. Fag pouted and went away.

    3.  A few weeks later, fag triumphantly delcared he had got the cash and asked FuelMix to contribute.  Instead, FuelMix announced he would further radically reduce his investment to no more than
    Two Thousand bucks.  A written repayment schedule was to be agreed immediately. Fag pouted and squealed, accusing FuelMix of being a pain in the ass. FuelMix shrugged and said, "take it or leave it." Fag agreed and signed the repayment schedule for Two Thousand bucks. This was going to be interesting.

    3.  Showing Up At The Business

    4.   Periodically, FuelMix went to view the renovations at the premises and spoke to the other investors, who, as it turned out, were also fags. They were all mutual friends and had all invested much more cash into this restaurant venture than FuelMix. They bragged that they were "active investors". They repeatedly criticized FuelMix to his face for his passive minimal contribution. Behind his back they referred to FuelMix as the stingy, mean, foreigner who wasn't doing anything to get the restaurant up and running and that he shouldn't even be involved at all.  FuelMix was never invited to mix socially in their group.  His comments on looking at the "accounts" that perhaps the restaurant was burning through its cash too quickly, before opening, were brushed off.

    5.  FuelMix observed the extent of the renovations and enquired whether any of the "active investors" had actually read the commercial lease of the premises.  The Landlord's consent was needed for a number of things including structural alterations and certain permits were required from the relevant authorities.  Again, FuelMix warned them about their cash burn rate. The other fags ridiculed FuelMix. They ignored him on the basis that they had invested considerably more time and money than him. Besides, THEY were all "friends" (and apparently living in the bubble named after the sitcom of the same name).

    6.  FuelMix shrugged.  Thank goodness only Two Thousand bucks of his was in.  He was being perceived as the bitchy foreign outsider hung up on technicalities.  This was going to be interesting.  FuelMix had the first inkling why these premises, right in the middle of Fagland, were the subject of successive failures.

    4.  Opening Day Approaches

    7.  Opening day for the restaurant was approaching.  The "active investors" were in a flurry of activity.  They were there everyday, blabbing to their friends and handing out flyers to pedestrians trumpeting the opening date of the restaurant.  FuelMix was nowhere to be seen, having already written off his Two Thousand bucks.

    8.  Not surprisingly, the Landlord balked at the structural changes that were carried out without its permission and (rightly) demanded that the premises be restored to their original condition.  As a result, the official permits could not be obtained from the Government.  It would cost a lot to structurally restore the premises.  The "active investors" panicked and demanded that FuelMix contribute more.  He refused and reiterated they should have read the commercial lease before having started any work and listened to his comments about the amount of cash being spent.

    5.  The Business Collapses

    9.  The restaurant collapsed before it opened.

    10.  On looking at the "accounts" it was clear that there was no way the rent could be paid since most of the invested funds had gone on "decor" and state-of-the-art kitchen equipment.  The premises had notched yet another unsuccessful restaurant.

    6.  The Blame Game

    11.  The gay "investor friends" who had invested a ton of cash, quickly turned hostile towards each other.  The blame game commenced.  The fag with the bright idea of starting the restaurant ducked out of sight - after promising to repay FuelMix first for "being soooo understanding.."  FuelMix shrugged.  This had become even more interesting.

    12.  Predictably, that fag disappeared - until FuelMix flushed him out and had a showdown.  Fag became more evasive and FuelMix formally bankrupted him - for Two Thousand bucks.

    7.  Epilogue

    13.  The gay "investor friends" fell out and their cosy social group shattered.  Harsh words were exchanged when they ran into each other at the bars in Fagland.  Bad blood was everywhere and the flyers trumpeting the new eatery lay scattered on the pavement.

    14.  FuelMix finally understood why those premises were recording successive failures.  There was nothing wrong with the premises or their location.  The problem was the people. The gay ones. Period.
    • Every one of the other investors was "an awesome friend" (although they weren't quite sure what everybody's surnames were);
    • None of them had any prior investing exposure but were happy to throw large amounts of money in straightaway;
    • The notion of financial control didn't compute;
    • Everyone was "a recreational drug user";
    • Decor, Ambience and Cuisine was everything;
    • Legal and financial technicalities were boring;
    • There was a problem in their attention span;
    • No business plan - it would take too long and somebody else might grab the premises.  Besides, they wanted to focus on whether the cuisine should be fusion or nouvelle;
    • Other than bitching, which was happily uncensored, nobody could articulate accountability and responsibility;
    • Being cavalier with the details was absolutely consistent with the mentality of the generic fag;

    15.  Sometimes it's necessary to pay (Two Thousand bucks) for an education just to get to the truth.  Once discovered, the knowledge is priceless.

    16.  Since the rent had not been paid, the Landlord took possession of the premises and sold the state-of-the-art kitchen equipment to a group of str8 investors. They took a new lease of the same premises and opened a successful restaurant in the heart of Fagland.  What did the ghetto fags do...?  They boycotted it claiming that the identity of their "community" was threatened.  Meanwhile the str8 customers lined up to get inside.  The food was really good.  The restaurant continued for a few years until a developer bought the building, which was then torn down and replaced with pricey high-rise apartments and str8 people. The fags seethed in resentment.

    Pink Dollar Mafia 4

    SERIES COMPLETED 2 MAY 2017

    Gay Men And Non-Profit Organizations

    You know how gay men like to fade to mellow when they talk about “Non-Profit Organizations”? They have that contented look on their faces like they’ve just sucked expensive cock and cognac? After all, Non-Profit Organizations are part of “the community” right...? Gay singing groups, gay theatre groups, gay charities, gay outreach, gay activist groups, blah blah blah...

    Heh…wake up fags. These NPOs are “in business”. Thanks to databases, slick snooping, a network of contacts and advertising, they have you in their sights. For what and when and why?

    For your cash, when you die, coz you’re gay. Married gay or not, NPOs are now in direct competition with your significant other, and your favourite nephew and niece for your bucks when you croak. All it takes is a presentation by them and a little charitable bequest in your will. Hell, they’ll even tell you what to say and refer you to lawyers to help you draw it up.

    Still feeling mellow...?

    We have nothing against charitable bequests and donations to gay groups.  We've done some ourselves.  But we've never lost sight of the reality that NPO's are in business first. But what we want to know FIRST is.....are they actually being run AS A BUSINESS - or are they being set up as an ATM for superficially righteous fags from which they can suck cash to fund their holiday in Puerto Vallarta or Bangkok.....or attend that Circuit Party that everybody's talking about..?
    • Ask to see their audited accounts.  If they dither, walk away now;
    • If they don't like questions about their accounts, walk away now;
    • Ask questions about their operations;
    • Do a site visit and see what they are actually doing and how they're doing it;
    • Just how effective does it appear to be..?
    • What prior work experience did the principal officers have..?
    • Do a Google search on them or a social media search on them;
    • Do you get a creepy feeling when you talk to them..?
    • If it looks flakey, it probably is;
    • You have the right to say, "No thanks";
