Big Top's Pricing Policy
The "official" price appears to be HK$130. However, unlike other saunas, the staff are friendly and forthcoming on pricing. There are usually 2 at the Front Desk. Getting them to speak in English or Cantonese is not a problem. Big Top also has a tiered pricing policy and they will openly tell you that gym dudes are encouraged to give their mobile phone number to receive a guaranteed discount and SMS notifications of events. From what FuelMix can tell, favourable pricing may be as low as HK$50 for gym dudes, regulars and students. For others it may be a bit higher. Negotiate.

Big Top's Clientele Update
The staff will openly say they are in competition with Double. They are in the vicinity. They will also tell you that they have a much more liberal entrance policy and welcome all body types and races. From personal observation, FuelMix can say this appears to be true. The Double muscle queens show up on Friday evenings and Saturday afternoons from 4pm onwards. Yeah......they bring their attitude with them. However, the staff are aware of this and are known to encourage the steroid boys to drop the attitude at Reception. It has some ways to go but at least it's a start. The rest of the clientele are slim twinks or slightly gym toned.
Weekday evenings are quieter but chink gym jocks will still show up. There may be some college students too. FuelMix has also seen 2 or 3 English speaking 20-something Asian-American dudes there on weekday evenings. They were in shape and athletic and got action there from the locals. They talked about going to nearby Club Houzz as well. With the summer university holidays approaching, it would not be surprising to see more of them there and at Club Houzz.
Be aware that it can take a long time in Big Top to cut through the attitude and get a hookup.
