Racism In Gay Porn Industry
White Porn Actors Refuse To Perform With Blacks And Asians
It's That "Preference" Thing Again
1. Controversial Tattoos
2. That "Preference" Thing Again
3. Social Media And The Scrutiny Of Gay Porn Studios
1. Controversial Tattoos
1. A white gay-for-pay porn "star" is covered in tattoos, many of which are white supremacist symbols (and some of which are also used in the skateboarding and surfing culture).
2. Initially, there was a backlash from gay bloggers but the porn company for which he worked, continued to promote his work. Neither the porn star nor the company responded to multiple requests for comment on the significance of the tattoos.
3. Subsequently, the porn company suggested that the star should issue his own statement to "clear his name".
4. This is what he published:
"I believe people should want to be proud of who they are and where they come from,".....I feel like we are suppose [sic] to continue our race and our culture....When it comes to having kids, I prefer to stay inside my race. It's nothing hateful towards any race, it's just what I believe. Why is that so wrong? Does that make me a racist?"

5. Shortly afterwards, 2 porn studios to which he was affiliated, pulled his scenes. This was apparently the first time that a gay porn studio had pulled scenes pulled on a performer's personal beliefs.
6. Another white porn star came to his defence by tweeting that even though he's worked with models of every race, he was not attracted to coloured people. If that cut out certain races, so be it he said. This model continues to be hired and allegedly has become more popular.
2. That "Preference" Thing Again
1. To non-whites and foreigners, that "preference" thing so openly paraded by whites, seen online, in the saunas and on hookup apps can be infuriating and, some will allege, degrading.
2. We've lost track of the number of times we heard that non-whites who stipulated "Sorry no whites" were insulted online by outraged whites alleging that the Asians were racist. So, right there is the hypocrisy of a double standard. It's a "preference" for a white to say "Sorry no Asians", but racist for an Asian to say, "Sorry no whites".
3. But there's another double standard in the gay porn business, where one performer can be sanctioned for allegedly stating white supremacist views and another white performer who openly states he's not attracted to coloured people, can continue to be promoted.
3. Social Media And The Scrutiny Of Gay Porn Studios
1. Social Media has multiple platforms for any fool to vent about anything. We've noticed how bitter gay men are online on just about everything. So, if a porn actor is covered in tattoos that can have more than one meaning, it's not surprising that the politically correct gay brigade will start demanding answers. Our view is that they have no right to and the actor was under no obligation to make a statement.
2. In this case, the actor responded in the context of everyone being proud of their ethnicity AND that if he was to have kids, he'd prefer to have one of the same race. We don't think that was racist. It was his view of continuing his race and his culture.
3. There have been instances where white gay porn actors specifically requested that they only perform with whites. Some studios claim they were not hired.
4. But other gay porn actors claim to have detailed information of racism in the gay porn industry - usually directed against blacks (perceived as being at higher risk of HIV) - by well known white porn stars, who have the backing of the owners of the studio. Apparently, the reason they get away with it is because most gay porn is produced by straight-owned business groups and gay porn is just a small fraction of the overall business.
