The Clientele


FuelMix heard anecdotally that with the closure of Towel Club, which was also in the vicinity, some of the muscular hunks now showed up in Action.  FuelMix did not see evidence of this, but is happy to stand corrected if a reader wants to chip in and say otherwise as to when these dudes would front up.


The clientele at the time FuelMix was there were mainly office chinks in their 20s and 30s with sort of average bods.



The Verdict

Unfortunately, Action suffers from intense attitude - as it did when it was Hunk.  It's comparable to the rancid attitude in ABC.  It's actually pretty laughable, coz those fags aren't getting any.... "ACTION !!!" ....while FuelMix shows up after a year and gets serviced in the Steam Room, The Showers and the Porn Lounge.  Yep....Life is good, although it ain't fair.

But the truth of the matter is, the vibe one puts out is the vibe one gets,  Put out attitude, you get it. Put out "Come and eat me coz I have the sweetest protein shake u ever swallowed", you get to leave with a smile on your face and the adoration (and mobile phone numbers) of grateful fags who satisfied their hunger and are now offering to buy (FuelMix) dinner on a weekend.

There's also the distinct feeling that Action is the afterthought compared to the 3 other saunas run by the same people.  Yeah it's been renovated pretty extensively, but it still has that slightly lost feel to it.  Basic intelligence in the design appears to be missing: the darkness of the lockers, the fumbling for the light switches in the playrooms, why everything on the hot drinks dispenser is in chink.

That whole "nude" sauna thing ain't new.  They had the same surrender-your-towel-and-get-it-back deal when it was Hunk and there was hardly any action going on then.



Would FuelMix Go Back?

Not in a hurry. Might drop in after a year to see if anything changed.
