me to try clubb houzz last friday night (6.4.2012)
the area is well designed for every kind of action, especially the shower stall. I haven't try the steam room as its very dark inside, but the corridor from the shower to the main area remind me a closed sauna named 'Jungle' at tsim sha tsui before.
I may be one of those u described as 'attitude lads', but i am sure i am not a 'fugly'. I arrived that night at 7pm, just after workout at california gym. I paid $120 for two entry, and when i arrived there is not crowded, but i can see most people are in their mid 30 to mid 40.
I went to the shower and a 40 sth grabbed my ass, in which i rejected him right the way. I done the shower and walk through the sauna, and i particular like the relaxing reading area.
later at 8pm, a cute tall lean singaporean in mid 20 comes in, and i already stood next to the mirror naked, with my dick semi hard (full hard 7' bigger than normal for an asian i thought), then i approached him after he done shower, but we found none of the room available as they all locked that night. Luckily i found one of the room was loosely locked and we bumped in and finished there.
I then walk around the sauna again and i found an area opposite to the big TV inside some already fucking there but it was too dark to identify their outlook. I then stood as the attitude lads next to the mirror in the main area, but i found only 1 guy i interested, however when approaching him, he seems not interested in me.
Overall the people there around mid 30 to mid 40, while some of them still in shape but most of them not. I cannot see any muscular body as u described in January entry. What annoying me is there are some fugly gossiping and speaking loudly at the main area like there is their place, which was more disgusting when comparing with those young fugly gossiping at hunter, as they are older and with high pitch voice like a woman.
I left at around 9pm and then go to the' Big Top' sauna as I don have to pay that night. Overall I thought CLub Houzz should do some promotion for muscular guys in order to attract more similar type people to go there. Otherwise I don’t think it can survive in Mong Kok with 4 sauna there.

After a reader's Friday nite review, published as Club Houzz Sauna 10, FuelMix showed up on a Friday evening to check for himself and found it was accurate - and therefore published his own review as Club Houzz Sauna 11.
As far as the crowd being mid30s to mid40s, that is an unmistakeable trend in the gay saunas here in Very Rich Megacity. Many of these guys are married or have GFs. Whether they regard themselves as Bisexual is another matter. It's a fair bet that a lot of them are highly closeted.
Previously the mid30s - mid40s crowd were limited to Central Escalator, Galaxy, Gateway, KK Fitness and QQ Fitness. The upward curve in the client ages has spread to Alexander (see some of the reports published in this blog), ABC, Action, Colony, Chaps, Club Houzz, Follow Me and NiChome. That's not really a bad thing. FuelMix has seen muscledudes in their 50s who were hot as hell. The other trend is that older guys, who assumed they were str8, are now experimenting as "recreational gay". This trend is not limited to Asia.

The gay saunas attracting a predominantly 20-something crowd are My Way
Platinum and Hunter. They have not received good reviews on this blog. (FuelMix
is ignoring Double and will not show up there. Other than their peculiar door
policy, there are other issues which suggest that one would not wish to be in
the wrong place at the wrong time).
