The Clientele 

OK  straight up, FuelMix showed up mid-week around 7pm.  Truthfully, there weren't more than 5 customers there for the couple of hours that FuelMix hung around.  That was surprising given that it's open 24 hours, and its easily  accessible location from the Central Business District as well as the offices in Wanchai and Causeway Bay.  It may well have been an off-night and it happens in any sauna.

The staff on duty chatted to FuelMix and apologetically pointed out their inability to predict when fags would show up.  According to them QQ Fitness gets mainly chink fags in their 20s to late 30s.  Some are gym built dudes, but it's mainly office type guys.  They suggested Friday evenings and Saturday afternoons as potential times to drop in.

Still, FuelMix being FuelMix, didn't have any trouble attracting attention.  Net result was that the staff ordered in dinner, shared it with FuelMix, and, together with a very young cute chink twink, got down to the business of servicing FuelMix for dessert and swallowed it all.

So all things considered, not a bad introduction to QQ Fitness.  They aimed to please (well at least FuelMix anyway).

Pros

• The only gay sauna on Hong Kong Island open 24 hours;
• Convenient, discreet location, easily walkable from Wanchai MTR.  Located midway between Gateway Sauna and My Way Platinum;
• Located spitting distance from a "busy" park;
• Reasonable entry fee - HK$88.00 - probably the cheapest on Hong Kong Island;
• Discreet crawl-entry porn lounge plays pretty good gay porn;
• Dark Room Area the only one in Hong Kong that also has wall mounted benches facing the private rooms;
• Dark Room Area not claustrophobic, has room to move about and is clean;

Cons

• Unattractive tacky-looking Reception Area;
• Japanese theme decor not that successful;
• Wet Area has a cramped, grimy feel to it, although it was reasonably clean;
• No funky gay dance tracks playing anywhere;
• Porn is only available in the porn lounge. No sprinkling of porn screens;
• No mirrors in private rooms;
• Kneeling down to use the computers - Japanese style - is a drag;
• Very limited, lousy selection of free snacks;
• Just a water cooler. No free hot drinks like in other places;
• Premises do not give off a sexy vibe;
• Could it be as dead as Action Sauna ? Hard to tell at the moment.

Would FuelMix Go Back?

Regular fascinated readers know that FuelMix has a policy of reviewing a sauna at least twice, to ensure accuracy and fairness.  He also encourages readers who've been to the reviewed saunas at different times to submit their feedback.

So yeah, FuelMix will go back in due course probably on a Friday or Saturday to check out the clientele.
