Decor & Layout

1.  Reception Area
The initial impression is odd and underwhelming.  The small Reception area - with a garish pink floral motif on the wall -  is also the TV Lounge and Laundry Room.  That's right fags, if you're not happy squinting at the smallish flat screen TV or the Security Camera footage that captures customers approaching the front door from every which way, settle into one of the vinyl banquettes and strike up a conversation with the Washer AND the Dryer coz they're busily humming.

There's a large choice of Oriental (mainly Taiwanese) gay porn mags and a small choice of free, sad looking crackers in a small tray on the main counter.  No fruits, no choice of drinks, no hot food.  The water cooler is next to the Locker Room.

2.  Locker Room
Sharp left from the Reception Desk, are the Lockers.  Clean and decent sized.  The Locker Room is well lit, with a mirror and vanity counter at one end.

3. Japanese Style "Tatami" Lounge
At one end of the Locker Room is a corridor.  It has a wall-mounted flat screen TV that faces a roomy Japanese Style "Tatami" Lounge.  In other words fags, lie or recline on the floor propped up with cushions.  It's very well lit and since the local chinks are reticent when it comes to public action, expect this place to be a social venue and nothing else.

Note To Fags:  As will soon become apparent, QQ Fitness requires its customers to do a lot of kneeling and lying.  It's the Japanese "theme".

4.  The Toilet
Next to the Japanese Style "Tatami" Lounge is the toilet. Standard stuff and reasonably clean- except that when the door is opened, a disembodied voice says "Hello".

5.  The Wet Area
Adjacent to the Toilet, is the Wet Area.  Pull the door and walk in.  The immediate impression is one of dim, cramped, damp grubbiness.  It's not at all aesthetically pleasing and a bit of a shock.

The Steam Room is to the left.  It's small square and dark.  The steam pressure and heat was adequate but the Steam Room did not give off a sexy vibe.  FuelMix was happy to be out of there.

Next to the Steam Room are the showers - 6 of them in total.  Water pressure is good and there are 2 semi-private alcoves with a plastic curtain in case a fag wants to shower with a buddy or have action.

At the end of the showers is another door that leads straight into the Dry Sauna and the Dark Area.  The Dry Sauna was small, clean and very dark.  It's in the Dark Area remember.

6.  Getting Into The Dark Area
Let's give credit where credit is due.  Having 2 entrances into the Dark Area - one directly from the showers and one directly from the Locker Room is a smart move.  Those fags who have finished playing and are drenched in sweat and cum, can dash str8 into the showers without the full glare and lighting of the Locker Room.

To get into the Dark Area from the Locker Room, look for the string curtains in the doorway next to the vanity counter.

This is fairly roomy even though there are only 4 private rooms with the usual accoutrements of condoms, lube, toilet paper and a trash bin.  Why there are no mirrors in the rooms boggles the mind, coz FuelMix is definitely worth looking at.

There are also vinyl benches along the Dark Room Walls where fags can sit and cruise or get serviced or just sulk.

So far, nothing terribly Japanese in the Dark Area..............

Now this is where it gets really weird...............

At one end of the Dark Area (near the entrance from the Locker Room) is a porn lounge, with a flat screen TV, vinyl floor mats and cushions.  There's a wooden partition THAT COMES DOWN TO ABOUT 2 FEET FROM THE GROUND...... To get into the porn lounge...... THE FAG HAS TO GET DOWN ON ALL FOURS AND CRAWL IN...........DID YOU GET THAT ?? READ IT AGAIN........REGARDLESS OF YOUR HEIGHT, YOU HAVE TO GET DOWN ON ALL FOURS AND CRAWL IN - USING THE LIGHT FROM THE PORN SCREEN TV............ONCE YOU'RE IN THE PORN LOUNGE, YOU CAN'T STAND UP...........YOU GOTTA LIE DOWN, RECLINE OR KEEP KNEELING

The porn that was playing was actually pretty good - raunchy US and Jap porn with lots of screaming.

And it gets better...........

Next to the porn lounge are 3 "Japanese Style" steps that lead to a low-ceiling loft that is either a rest area or a play area.  It's "illuminated" by the light from the porn screen TV coming up through a glass panel in the corner..............YOU CAN'T STAND UP IN THE LOFT EITHER.

The Computer Lounge
Turning Right from the Reception Area is the Computer Lounge with 2 PCs on the floor, a flat screen TV, vinyl mats and cushions.  The Computer Lounge has a full height ceiling.  To use the computers the fag will have to kneel down on the floor.

Comment
The design ethos is "Low End Japanese Restaurant Meets Bath Towel".  Is it bad ? That depends on whether you have back trouble.  Putting aside the comments in really bold print above, the Dark Room area is not that bad and has good potential for group action.  The private rooms and corridors are full height.

The Wet Area is a real disappointment and not a sexy place to be in.  That's a cardinal Gay Sauna Sin.
