It had been over a year since FuelMix showed up here (See Jungle Sauna 3 dated 2 August 2014). Finding himself in Yau Ma Tei on a hot Thursday evening, he got curious.......ok, ok, he got horny.......and decided to stop the throbbing and check the pulse of this place. 


The Price

The entrance sign at the Reception Counter says HK$150.00 and that is what FuelMix paid.  We suspect that others are paying much less. According to their website there are a number of offers - all written in Chinese.  None of those offers are visible at the Reception Desk, an omission that we find peculiar.  So either the staff use their discretion or one has to speak in Chinese and draw attention to the offer that was on the website.

FuelMix gets totally pissed off at this tactic.  It's the same tactic being used by its sister sauna, MyWay.  When a non-Chinese acquaintance of ours emailed MyWay on this tactic, the response he got was, "we prefer to explain it personally at the Reception Desk and the offers only apply to holders of Hong Kong ID Cards."  

Yeah right.  In other words, non-Chinese, or non-Chinese speaking, tourists get fleeced and fucked before they undress.  So much for being a welcoming international city.  And don't get us started on the plummeting standard of English all over Very Rich Megacity.


The Premises

Nothing substantial to report in the way of changes to the physical layout of the place since our review in Jungle Sauna 3.  We like the Dark Area.  It's large and the maze feels like a maze.

The private rooms are clean and fully loaded with condoms, lube, toilet paper and mirrors. We like the ability to control the (purple) lighting in the rooms.

We didn't like the Jap gay porn.  We loved the Middle East dance music as the backing track in the Dark Area. Not sure where the management got it from, or whether they even knew what it was, but it was funky.


The Clientele

Thursday evening between 8pm and 10:30pm the place was not packed, but not deserted.  Clearly it  wasn't peak time, even if Jungle is now open 24 hours.  You'd have to show up between 4pm and 8pm for more of a weekday crowd, we suspect.

The majority were GAM twinks, some skinny, some gym fit and a few muscled. No bears, chubs and fatties.  Sorry.  Although we don't got to Jungle often, we have never seen fat ones there.  They naturally tend to stay away.

Historically, Jungle (or Hunter as it then was) had the reputation for being GAM-Twink-Central-on-Kowloon-side.  It still is (with MyWay as its equivalent on Hong Kong island).

However, since we are living in a rapidly changing world, we saw a number of 30-somethings and middle aged GAMs there too.  Not fat, not too ugly, average slim shape.

Furthermore, Jungle does attract white guys.  They were there when we were. We've written in this blog before that whites need to grow some balls and wean themselves off Central Escalator.  We've now seen them in MyWay and Jungle.  They appear to be in the 30s - 50s age range and were definitely in shape.  In other words, they were visually more presentable than the Fat White Fuglies that block the corridors in Central Escalator - or Alexander for that matter.

We think this is a very good sign.  We've said before that MyWay and Jungle (both under the same ownership) need to become more internationlized.  They have the space, the facilities and are open 24 hours. 


Did FuelMix Get Action....?

Yeah....a 24 year old skinny twink ogled him in the shower, followed him into the Dark Area, started licking FuelMix's armpits and then ate out FuelMix's muscled ass in a private room.  So no complaints.

However, be warned........it can take a while to get action in Jungle.  The fuckin' twinks come loaded with atittude - and cigarettes.  FuelMix shudders to think what a nicotine-snorting chink twink will look like in 10 years. Even if he does go to the gym.

But then again, if you're sitting on his face why would you care....??


Would FuelMix Go Back.....?
