"Creepy....." said the slim GAM who spoke excellent English, "just creepy....."  He sighed and shook his head, sipping quietly from the fizzy drink in the heavily air conditioned cafe downtown"Yeah, the place is nicely decorated, the guys are muscled and gym built - but my God, such fuckin' attitude from the moment you walk in, from the staff and the clientele."

"Who the hell do they think they are.....??  The vibe is just so weird and toxic.  And of course nobody mentions the Mainland Chinese moneyboys who seem to be "living" in the hotel part of the sauna for days on end.  They don't hustle on the premises, but they base themselves there......shit......what's with that....??"

"I went there a few times, it's not cheap.....and I thought, 'That's it.....I'm not gonna allow myself to be degraded and disrespected by the damn staff or the customers.  As far as I'm concerned, Hutong is where the muscleboys go to kill themselves with drugs and attitude."

  1. I am a Hutong regular and although the attitude comments are true, I find this also the case in other saunas. I am reasonably in shape and find it annoying if a really unattractive person touches me without even bothering to make eye contact to see if there is any sign of a potential match.

I visited last saturday and I thought I was in China. Place was overrun by mainlanders blocking the corridors, talking loudly, coughing and sneezing all over. Who said there were less mainland tourists coming into Hong Kong....
