In Gateway Sauna 3, we said:

"Then again, it's equally likely that such intense servicing was a one-off thing, triggered by being the foreign novelty value.  Who knows......if in future FuelMix showed up, the place might be totally boring - for him."

Well, it started promisingly.........after nearly a year's absence from this venue, FuelMix showed up on a hot, humid mid-week afternoon to test the pulse.

The Attendant's face lit up as FuelMix plunked down his coin.  "Waaah...!!....I remember yoooo aahh......long time no see!!.... handsome boy...!!  You looking to fuck yeah...?"

"No, I'm looking for termites", thought FuelMix, flashing a totally disinterested smile as he kicked open the door to the Locker Room.

The Attendant opened his door and also entered the Locker Area. He perched on the high bar stool in the corner, and lit up a cigarette.  FuelMix was getting undressed, the Attendant was smoking and watching intently,  tendrils of silver-blue smoke swirling around his face.

"Waaahh...!! Such nice bodyyy....!! You go gym.....I can see......I remember yooo....!!"  crooned the Attendant, licking his lips and grinning lasciviously like an ephemeral Oriental Cheshire Cat, shrouded by the incense of nicotine.

"Hey", he purred, as FuelMix was naked and about to wrap his towel around himself, "lie on the bench and show me your body.....let me look at it some more...." 

FuelMix obliged, and sprawled himself on the bench. The Attendant gazed as if in a stupor, sucking his cigarette and caressing his nipples through his T-shirt.  He moaned audibly, rocking back and forth on the high bar stool - until his erotic reverie was interrupted by the doorbell. FuelMix headed to the showers.

And that's when the customers started showing up. A steady stream of what looked like disgruntled office workers of varying ages with very average bodies as well as some more mature guys.  All local Chinese, and all FUGLY - by their own admission.  FuelMix can say this with some degree of modesty because several of them told him that not only do THEY find Gateway BORING, but this place has the reputation of attracting the average Chinese Fugly - and the occasional Fat White Guy and Filipino straying from the familiar pastures of Central Escalator.

They politely suggested that FuelMix should try another sauna. Predictably, FuelMix got no action.

OK....FuelMix was humbled by their praise and suggestions, but it raises a more fundamental point - namely that Gateway is not operating to its full potential:

We've said it before:

• It's a convenient, discreet location in Wanchai;
• It's clean and well maintained;
• It's better than anything in Central;
• It's got a large communal play area at the far end;

This place really deserves a better looking clientele and a wider window of opportunity. The customers told FuelMix that:

• On weekdays: the window is between 5pm - 7pm;
• Saturdays - afternoons onwards;
• Sundays - afternoons onwards;
