Creeping inflation continues to become more prevalent here in Very Rich Megacity. Big Top is informing its customers that with effect from 1 September 2014, it will be jacking its prices by about HK$10.00 across the board.
What does that mean....? It means that they haven't finalized the actual amount of the increase but they think it will be at least 10 bucks.
Currently, the walk-in sticker price is HK$138.00. However, the price menu (which you're not supposed to know about) looks something like this:
- Favoured customers: HK$128.00
- More Favoured Customers: HK$118.00
- Even More Favoured Customers: HK$108.00
- Hotties: Pay Less than the above
- Immortals: *cough* *ahem* *cough*: Pay even less
