FuelMix dropped into Big Top Sauna for the first time around 5:30pm on a Saturday afternoon.  He can confirm that the review sent in by a reader in Big Top Gym And Sauna 2, is fair and accurate.  FuelMix will just add the following:

The Steam Room

This is parallel to the showers.  It is rectangular and narrow.  It has 2 entrances, one at either end.  There are a couple of partitions in there that serve as alcoves for action.  There’s no seating (except a small bench just inside the door from the showers).  There was considerable group action in there – but be aware that it is very narrow and the walls are rough finished.

The Clientele

GAMs of differing body types ranging from fat to slim, to gym fit to a few muscular dudes.  There was a wide age range although predominantly 20s to 30s.  Some appeared older. FuelMix was the only foreigner there, received a number of compliments and got action twice.  Since the Locker Room area is dim, most guys check each other out in the showers, which are very well lit.

The fact that FuelMix got action easily may have been due to the novelty value of his looks. A few customers remarked to him that he was the first foreigner they’d seen there (duh…..it’s only been open less than 2 weeks).  Chilling in the Lounge, some GAMs struck up a conversation too.  At this stage, it’s too early to say whether getting action in the future will be so easy.

The majority of the crowd did not look familiar from other saunas.  FuelMix discovered that since this place is brand new, it is also attracting newbie, inexperienced GAM fags.  Some mentioned that they were pissed off with the attitude in My Way Platinum and the lack of action in Action.

Pros

• Open 24 hours – well sort of.   Best as FuelMix can tell, on weekdays,  it’s technically open overnight till 8am the following day;  but open 24 hours on weekends.  Get the staff to explain it again.
• Staff speak OK to good English – depending on who’s on duty
• Convenient yet discreet location
• Across the road from Club Houzz as a possible option
• Alexander and Double also nearby
• No Karaoke
• Computers available
• Free snacks, bananas and free hot drinks
• Seating area behind the Lounge for eating snacks or chatting
• Nice bright showers with good water pressure
• Average décor – the attempts at being sexually cocky looks a bit contrived
• 2 large porn screens in Dark Area with Western and Jap porn respectively
• Dark Area has 8 private cabins plus porn alcove
• Staff said they are actively encouraging GWMs to show up.

 Cons

• No Dry Sauna
• No hot tub
• Private cabins feel a bit cramped
• Small, single red light in private cabins annoying
• No mirrors in private cabins       
• Even the staff admit “the gym" is a gimmick                                                                                             

Would FuelMix Go Back?

There was nothing major to piss him off so for the moment, the answer is “Yes” as part of his policy to ensure fairness and accuracy in his reviews.  FuelMix invites any other reader who's also been to Big Top Sauna to send in their assessment.
