1.  Readers will already know that FuelMix has written off this place as a waste of time and money.  We ran into a GWM who lives here. He gave us his assessment (underlining and bold print by FuelMix: 

"OK, the place is very clean - but my God, it's dark. Dim lighting, dark wood, dark lockers and dark showers. Tiny towels. They have this misguided idea that dark somehow equals sexy.  It doesn't, at least not in this city.

The guys that show up there are different ages.  I've seen several twinks and some gym fit guys in their 20s and 30s, older guys too some ugly as hell.  It's mostly Chinese although I did spot some attractive white guys in their 30s a few times.

But what pisses me off is the complete lack of a sexy vibe.  Even if there are some muscular guys there, something about the place.....can't quite describe it......that just seems to kill the horniness.  Yeah, the rooms get occupied and you can hear the squealing. But when they come out, both of them are fuckin' ugly.  You kinda wonder what they were squealing about.

The TV lounge that shows porn is an absolute disaster.  It's tiny and the big screen is just inches from your face.  It's the brightest light there in such dark premises.  What that means is every time you stick your head in the TV lounge and step back out again, you're temporarily blinded. 

Maybe the place is good if you've met someone and come in together.  I've seen several attractive gym fit GAMs come in with a buddy, shower, grab a room, fuck and leave. They're using it like an hourly hotel.  That makes sense because Birds is not designed either for comfort or lounging around.  I think coming in with a hot buddy is the only time I'd show up in Birds.  It's the best way to get around the complete lack of a sexy ambience and uninspiring customers."
