Gay Blackmail In Hong Kong 2
7. Commentary On The Facts
(1) "I think that highlighting the problem of blackmail is good because I can see how some men might be hesitant to report because of social/family/work pressures or lack of support from enforcement authorities and this subject is under-reported".

2. The GAM seemed very interested in GWM's job and whether he had a boyfriend. He specifically asked these questions twice.
3. The hookup took place late in the evening about 10pm at GWM's apartment. This could have been a deliberate ploy on GAM's part to strengthen his case to stay the night and/or to hustle for cash knowing fully well that after sex, GWM would be tired, he would need to get to bed for work the next day and would probably pay up and shut up - thereby laying himself open to future cash calls.
4. GAM's constant bragging about his expensive leather jacket and the display of high-end face and body care products in GWM's apartment was both intimidation and a distraction. Our impression is that GAM was laying the groundwork to present himself as a high class whore.
5. GAM's request that he be photographed sucking GWM's cock was intended to supplement his case of alleged underage sex. It was a mistake for GWM to allow himself to be photographed.
6. GAM's request that he be fucked bareback (which GWM refused) and subsequent complaint that GWM was "too big", thereby causing him injury was all part of a script to bolster a spurious claim of underage sex and strengthen the blackmail attempt.
7. The showing of pictures by GAM of other middle aged men and the screenshot of a bank transfer of cash from Thailand - done after GAM had obtained access to GWM's WiFi - was pretty slick. GAM was setting up a 2-pronged attack against GWM i.e. that GWM had knowingly fucked an underage local whore AND injured him in the process.
(2) "Bravo! You go where others are afraid to go and you do it with intelligence and finesse. Having also experienced a gay blackmail attempt and the trauma that it brings, I acknowledge the real value you are giving to other readers".

8. The First count of Blackmail was brazen. What probably saved GWM was his insistence to see the medical bills. This forced the GAM to back down from his demand of HK$600.00 - at least initially, before falsely pleading injury and poverty. This was the Second count of Blackmail and/or a count of Obtaining Money By Deception.
9. Later that day GAM revealed he was a money boy and demanded a reduced sum of HK$500.00. That amounts to a second count of Obtaining Money By Deception since had never revealed his purported money boy status before. By providing GWM with his bank account details and name, GAM facilitated a Google search by GWM. Either GAM slipped up or didn't care. We suspect the latter.
10. The exposure that GAM was a serial convicted blackmailer had no effect on GAM since he claimed he had not specified any consequences. This was absurd since it was GAM who threatened to report GWM to the Police - and then had the gall to say that if GWM reported him to the Police, it would not be of any use since he was well versed in the elements of Blackmail.
11. GAM's final demand to be paid HK$100.00 with a clear threat that he would continue to call GWM (implicitly for more cash) amounted to a Third count of Blackmail.
(3) "I commend the reader who contacted you with his experience and I commend you for going ahead and publishing it. Gay men absolutely need to know that blackmail exists in their world. Your blog gives insight and value to its readers compared to the politically correct fluff found in so many other publications".

12. GWM's decisions to block GAM and change the WiFi password were correct.
13. GAM is a small-time blackmailer operating on high volume. We're not going to speculate on his mental state. But he switches without warning between outright blackmail and requests for financial help. His preferred transaction method appears to be by way of bank transfer - either to make it easier to obtain payment from his overseas "clients" who've left Hong Kong and whom he's threatened; or to make it harder for the Police to arrest him as the money is handed to him.
(4) "This person had messaged me several times recently on Jack'd, all in the space of a few months. I'd always blocked him, as I'd recognized him from those online news reports with his picture. However, he seems to be registering new accounts quickly. You're right that he's operating on high volume".
