We ran into one of our friendly casual GAM acquaintances on the street (i.e. we only know him by his first name, but he's pretty reliable as to what he tells us).  Here are his verbal comments - which we have paraphrased -  on his recent visit to Central Escalator sauna.

So..... I showed up at CE during the week just before 6pm.  There were about 12 guys there - a mix between GAMs and whites.  The white guys were definitely older and really out of shape. The Asian guys were Chinese, Mainland Chinese and a group of 3 effeminate Indonesian or Filipino tourists. There was a steady stream of white guys in their 30s coming in, but while they were slimmer than the older whites, they were nothing to look at.  After a while, there were more white guys than Asians.  Overall, the crowd was disappointing.

People just stood around or watched TV.  The little rooms were empty. In the Steam Room, the older white guys were quite aggressive when trying to hook up with the younger Asians. Some Asian guys fled from the Steam Room shaking their heads and muttering.  I had to tell one of those older whites 3 times to stop grabbing me.

I stayed for about an hour and a half. Didn't  enjoy it so went across to Alexander where I had some fun.

FuelMix says:

We've said it before that CE is an asylum for whites.  It's the only sauna in town where they feel safe as a group. Nothing wrong with that.  Whilst CE has positioned itself as the one that draws an international crowd, we've been hearing for a while that it ain't the hottest. We're not sure why.

As for aggressive cruising in the Steam Room, that's gonna happen anywhere - regardless of age, ethnicity or body type.
