1.  Getting There

This place is pretty easy to find.

  1. Take the MTR to Mong Kok Station and follow the signs to Exit D3.
  2. Emerging at street level, you will be on Sai Yeung Choi Street South.
  3. Do a U turn to the Left. You will now be facing the corner of Sai Yeung Choi Street and the main road, which is Argyle Street.
  4. From that corner, face Right and walk one block until you come to Tung Choi Street. It's easy to recognize because of all the stalls in the street. It is in fact, the famous Ladies Street (which also sells a whole bunch of other stuff). Chances are you'll see (white) tourists looking for cheap bargains, so you'll know you're in the right area. There is also a dark pink tourist street sign that points into Ladies Street.
  5. Turn Right into Tung Choi Street and stay on the Right Hand side of the street, on the pavement behind the stalls.
  6. Walk about 20 metres down Tung Choi Street until you come to Nos. 83 - 85.
  7. Push the door open (or ring the bell), climb the stairs and follow the paper signs stuck to the wall that will bring you to the shop on the Mezzanine floor. Ring the doorbell for entry.

2.  Layout

A small, neatly laid out shop in an old building (they're all old in that area) that sells underwear, swimwear, toys, lube and accessories catering to the gay customer. The pictures on the website are accurate.

3.  Customer Service and Products

1.  The guy on duty when FuelMix showed up was polite, friendly and non-pushy.  He was happy to show and explain the products. The underwear ranged from Japanese brand Toot, to American brands Trophy Boy and Andrew Christian. By way of contrast, the Andrew Christian underwear was considerably cheaper than that being sold by Shop.On-Us in Gough Street, SoHo, on Hong Kong side, although in fairness Shop On Us had a wider selection.

2.  Toys, lube and accessories are clearly displayed and the shop guy explained how to use them.  The disappointment was that the cock rings were metallic and not the thinner, rubber ones. They stocked some cheap rubber Chinese-made small "donut" rings.  Whilst they fit tight on the cock, they are very uncomfortable around both the cock and the balls, compared to the properly made thinner rubber cockrings that come in various sizes. ***

3.  A word of caution.  The underwear and swimwear collection is not for fat guys. In fact, no gay clothing shop is. Japanese brands like Toot have a tighter fit and you need to be body conscious and athletic to properly carry off the really gay looking Andrew Christian stuff.

4.  Customers can try on both the underwear and the swimwear.

5.  Are you scared of buying toys, lube, cockrings, jockstraps and hot swimwear....?  Because Mom, Dad, the maid or the dog (or all of them) will find them....? (Just like they found your porn collection...??)  As an added bonus, and a good touch of lateral thinking, the shop offers a rental service of small lockers at about HK$100 per month to store your goodies.

4.  Would FuelMix Go Back....?

He might (if only to find out what that nice old lady and the cat are up to in that shop).

***  If anyone knows where to buy good quality rubber cockrings here in Very Rich Megacity, let FuelMix know. He lost his favourite one in Central in surreal and faintly hilarious circumstances (see Flush, Lust And The Toilet Attendant).
