Since I am an ex happy customer of the late Towel Club, I checked a few saunas. I am GWM..
Today, Central Escalator, which was a total shock, how can anyone suggest this place at all!?

Just some comments about CE:

- tiny space with about 4 private rooms ONLY
- those rooms cannot be locked properly, while fucking inside others can open the door from outside
- partition walls seem to be very instable
- in the rooms there is no paper, no condom and no lube
- extra towels are charged HK$5
- luckily I invited a date, the clientele is really bad
- on 2 of bout 5 TVs you can watch a cooking show

What the hell is this shit hole!? Extremely SUB-STANDARD....

Can anyone shut it down and get the old Towel Club back? haha...

For the record, FuelMix did not recommend the place in his previous post, Central Escalator 8.  He suggested the venue in response to a reader's very specific query.

The clientele varies depending on when you dropped in.  Agree that there can be some Fuglies - especially white ones.  Some of the tourists can be OK though.  Some may even be muscular - although it's been sometime since FuelMix saw any there - probably because he doesn't go there much.

You're right about the private rooms .  It's the main reason FuelMix doesn't like going there - PLUS the generally cramped feel of the premises.  Suggest you read all of FuelMix's reviews of CE, particularly Central Escalator 4 and Central Escalator 7.

The place has a loyal professional clientele because of its Central location.

Although CE is not on FuelMix's "A" List, he does respect the place and the management.  It is the longest running sauna in town and the staff are the friendliest in town.  To have lasted as long as they have, means that they're doing something right.

That being said, there are other saunas around town.
