Hunter bills itself as the most luxurious sauna in Very Rich Megacity. Well……let’s see………….


The Lounge

The Lounge is a decent sized square room with mirrors on one side and 2 computers on the other. Underneath the large flat screen TV is a shelf with bananas, mixed nuts and some freebie gay stuff. The colour scheme is dark brown. Nothing particularly luxurious there.

The fags sit motionless and silent on the black sofa eyeing everybody who comes in. A customer has to cross the Lounge before entering the Locker Area.


The Locker Area

Also in dark brown with a black leather bench. The lockers are a good size, with a shoe rack and 2 towels with “HUNTER” printed on them. Luxurious?

The locker area is adequately lit with a large white sink and a largish mirror. Luxurious………??? Hardly. Above the sink is another flat screen TV playing Jap porn.

There’s a regular stream of people passing through the Lounge and the Locker Area. Expect to be stared at while they simultaneously fixate on the Jap porn. Unlike the fictional bar, “Cheers”, nobody knows your name and they’re not particularly glad you came. Remember that line fags. FuelMix has a lot more to say on the clientele of Hunter.


The Dry Sauna

A corridor off the Lockers leads to the Wet Area, the focal point of which is (ironically) the Dry Sauna. This is a large-ish low ceiling cabin with continuous benches on 3 sides. It’s apparently heated by some infra-red technology. If so, the heat was inadequate.

There’s yet another large ludicrously bright flat screen TV in the Dry Sauna. So bright, that it illuminates each and every fag in there with an eerie bluish glow. In addition there are multi-coloured lights in the ceiling.

There were stacks of people in the premises (more on that later). The Dry Sauna is so garishly lit that a fag would feel worse than a deer in the headlights, about to be mowed down in a disco. People sat in there, looking grim. FuelMix didn’t spot any action goin’ on there.

Did FuelMix say “grim”? Remember that word too, fags, coz that’s gonna pop up again when FuelMix talks about the clientele.


The Showers

Next to the Dry Sauna are the showers, a large interesting well-lit area, part of which is shielded behind a wooden trellis wall with fake plastic ivy. MMMMmmmm, that’s really luxurious….. The shower area is in black and white, with tinted mirrors and more multi-coloured lights that blink intermittently. There’s also a private shower area behind a black door, for the fag and his buddies. The showers had good water pressure and plenty of space to play........if fags were so inclined.  The shower area was also good place to check people out and theoretically, had play potential. But did it? Read what FuelMix has to say about the clientele.

For some obscure reason, there's also a wall mounted globular aquarium in the shower area with a couple of fisheys...... It seemed a bit forlorn until FuelMix realized that a customer might spend a lot of his time staring at that..............why would that be.........??  Well fags, at some point you're just gonna have to read what FuelMix says about the clientele..........


The Toilets

Adjacent to the Dry Sauna is another corridor, that leads to the toilets and then through a curtain, into the Dark Area.

The colour scheme in the toilets is black and white. There is one private toilet behind a door complete with sink, mirror and vanity. Sort of hotel room style. The trendy shaped urinals are exposed to the public so fags can stand at the urinal and piss in full view of passing fags. Luxurious?? Well, they were clean.

Theoretically, a toilet layout that allows the public viewing of fags, should have potential. But did it? Again, wait for FuelMix’s comments on the clientele.


The Dark Area

Push through the curtains and step in. It might be pitch dark, or it might not, depending on whether the fags turn on some lights of the many private rooms that line the walls.

The main corridor in the Dark Area goes like this: Walk straight, turn Right, turn Left, Walk straight to the end and there’ll be a Jack Off Room with another massively lit flat screen showing loud Jap porn.

Just before reaching the Jack Off Room, there’s another Dark Room on the Left (call it Dark Room Left) with a corridor that circles the room. In the centre of Dark Room Left is a smaller partitioned empty play space. It’s supposed to be a cruising and play area. For some obscure reason, it has a TINY flat screen TV showing porn and appears to be the only place to pick up lube packets.

The Private Rooms

They are large with black vinyl floor mattresses,  black vinyl bolster pillows and sliding wooden doors that lock. The lighting in the room is extremely dim and not adjustable. There were no mirrors, no paper towel dispenser, just condoms. Not really user friendly and quite disappointing.  Luxurious? Nope.  At least the vinyl was ripped, like in some other saunas FuelMix has reviewed in this blog.

And at the time, (Friday evening, just after 9:30pm) each and every one of those rooms was empty.  Why would that be? What is it about Hunter's clientele...........???
