Presumably by now, fascinated readers have seen the previous postings in this series, which were also written today.

It’s hard to know where to begin without being accused of bashing fags. But straight up, it appears that an HIV fag on meth cannot blame his condition on his ill health. He can only acknowledge his choices, his habits and his love of hedonism.

It’s a fine line between hedonism and addiction. Just like there’s a fine line between genius and insanity.

One of the truths of fagdom, is the incessant call of sexual hedonism. It’s so fuckin’ easy to get man to man sex, even straight guys can’t believe it – and when they do, they’re jealous.

FuelMix said long ago in this blog, that it was emotional pain that drove fags into (the sometimes reckless) pursuit of hedonism. The recent comment that HIV fags resorted to meth to forget their HIV status, backs this view.

More importantly, FuelMix has long maintained that part of the new paradigm of being an urban fag, was the development of emotional intelligence – a trait that was missing in many of the Faglands he’d visited and a lot of the fags he’d run into.

The physical deterioration of the brain caused by meth use (and weed use for that matter) are becoming well documented. The catalogue of psychological dysfunction are precisely those traits that show up consistently in Fagland and in fag behaviour. Combine that with high concentrations of HIV fags in a small geographic area, and you have a cluster of men who are effectively sub-standard across the board, in all areas of their lives.

In a BBC report of 22 May 2006, meth usage globally, outnumbers heroin and cocaine.

There is increasing evidence that meth is used frequently by fags, seeking a euphoric high that is said to last all night, and then some. Hardly surprising if earlier postings in this blog about fags and their hook on hedonism, are accepted.

Obsessed as they are with their physical appearance, fags may not be thrilled to hear about “meth mouth”, a condition in which the gums and the teeth rot. This condition was first noticed in rural areas of North America, and is now showing up in urban areas of Fagland and clubbing heteros.

Other thrilling attributes of meth use are ravaged and diseased skin, paranoia, mood swings, depression, violent behaviour, kidney failure and internal bleeding. But hey, it triggers uninhibited sex……that’s the main reason fags take it.

In May 2006, the United Kingdom announced its intention to reclassify Meth as a Class A drug. This was in response to the large number of meth labs springing up all over the country – in the same way that they are mushrooming all over Europe and North America - particularly in the rural areas of North America.

Meth is sold as crystals, pills or powder. It can be smoked, swallowed or injected. Meth is cooked up using a handful of household chemicals. In addition to being massively addictive and triggering complete sexual inhibition and euphoria, it also causes a rush of physical energy, hallucinations, voices in the head, uncontrollable facial and body itching.

Users on meth are frequently wired for more than 24 hours and can go for days without sleep – only to crash hard afterwards often for several days.

As a meth user commented, “you borrow from tomorrow with amphetamines. It's definitely not a health tonic."

FuelMix was doing some research on Meth.(methamphetamine) a.k.a. “crystal”, "ice" "go-fast", "crazy medicine"

In August 2005, the BBC web site reported the results of a study on Meth done by the University of California, San Diego. Meth users were found to have physically altered their brain – for the worse. This was because they had larger areas of their brain involved in attention, motivation and the control of movement. Specifically, they had larger volumes of the basal ganglia and parietal cortex. They also fared worse in tests of brain function.

However, if the person was HIV+ the impairment was even worse – and the volume of certain brain areas shrank. The brain region affected by HIV govern higher thought, reasoning, memory and learning. In HIV cases, the cerebral cortex, basal ganglia and hippocampus shrank.

The basal ganglia controls movement. Meth users who were also HIV, exhibited tremors similar to those seen in Parkinsons Disease.

Each volunteer in the test had a brain scan and completed cognitive tests covering learning, recall, verbal fluency, information processing and motor functioning.

The head of the research team made the following comment:

"In HIV-infected people, the cognitive impairments are associated with decreased employment and vocational abilities, difficulties with medication management, impaired driving performance and problems with general activities of daily living, such as managing money,,,,,,[and] impaired decision making capability”
