Bathouse Larkin' (A Reader's Poem)

Submitted today by a GWM reader here in Very Rich Megacity, pursuant to a particularly soulless series of encounters at Hutong Sauna:

Bathouse Larkin'

Stumbling, heaving, rhythmic throng
where seas of injured souls belong
addled wits and empty eyes
long-dead hopes there's no disguise.

Peacocks up and down they strut
With hungry eyes and hearts all shut
Liberation, oh who knew
Would be so soul-destroying too.

Music, organs loins all throbbing
On the prowl. No time for sobbing
For what’s been robbed from our soul.
'The lifestyle' has consumed it all.

Men hand mis’ry onto men
It happens time and time again.
Run my friend with half a chance
Escape this self-destructive dance.

Perfect.  Catches the attitude, frustration, erotic charge and emptiness so prevalent in a gay sauna. Thanks for submitting it.

No MSG, But.....

Meanwhile on it's way to becoming a world power.....

35 restaurants across China have been found illegally using opium as seasoning in their food, state officials say.

Five restaurants are being prosecuted over the findings, whilst 30 more are under investigation, according to the China Food and Drug Administration.

The eateries include a popular chain of hot pot restaurants in Beijing.

It is unclear how the opium came to enter the food, however, previous cases in China have seen chefs try to ‘hook’ customers on their food through use of the narcotic which can cause serious addiction.

In 2014, a failed drugs test led Shaanxi provincial police to uncover a noodle seller deliberately lacing meals with opium.

In 2004, a string of 215 restaurants in the Guizhou region were closed down following similar charges.

According to the official news agency Xinhau, poppy powder is available to buy in China at $60 or approximately £42 per kilogram.

It is commonly mixed with chilli oil and powders, which make it difficult for authorities to detect.

FuelMix says:

1. We call bullshit on this article.  It appears to be sloppy reporting and white sensationalism - all part of the subtle anti-China meme we've noticed for a while.

2.  Note in particular the sloppy use of opium and poppy powder, as if the 2 were the same.  They're not.

3.  The poppy plant produces opium, whose derivatives include morphine, codeine, heroin and oxycodone. The unripe poppy seed pod growing in the poppy fields naturally secretes a milky fluid.

  • That fluid is scraped off after the petals drop off.
  • The fluid is mixed with calcium solution and hot water in large barrels. Stirred vigorously and left to settle for hours.
  • The clear liquid that forms on the top contains morphine and is siphoned off into another container. A binding chemical is added to the clear liquid which is then returned to the barrels and heated. The chemical binds to the morphine causing it to sink to the bottom of the barrel.
  • The contents of the barrel are stirred and filtered out.  The residue is dried in the sun, resulting in a brown morphine base.
  • Morphine base mixed with another chemical solution and heated until it turns black. It is then cooled down, quenched with water and filtered to remove impurities.
  • In separate container, sodium carbonate is dissolved in water, then added to the morphine base and stirred to create heroin base.
  • Heroin base is mixed with more chemical solutions, including charcoal and water. Stirred and filtered multiple times to remove charcoal.  Resulting residue is dried.
  • Another chemical is added to the dried heroin base and then filtered.
  • The final dried product is white heroin hydrochloride - or powdered white heroin. Ready to be snorted, smoked or injected.
4.  We got all that plus the image from the US Drug Enforcement Museum Website.

5.  Oh.....and years ago, we were reliably informed by our genial (white) computer techhie - himself a recovered heroin and meth addict - that heroin is really bitter to the taste.  So how that could be added to noodles or mixed with chili oil without anyone noticing, is a mystery to us.

6.  Further, the poppy flower also has black poppy seeds inside the pod.  They too are harvested and can either be crushed or used as is.  They are found widely in the food industry.......you dumb faggots never had a poppy seed bagel with cream cheese....???

7.  In some countries like Singapore, anyone wishing to import poppy seeds e.g. for their bakery business, must first submit a sample for testing and approval to the Health Sciences Authority, who then forward the report to the Central Narcotics Bureau.  If the report is clear and no traces of morphine detected, the Central Narcotics Bureau will endorse and approve the Inward Declaration Form. Sounds fair to us.

8.  The sloppy reporting by the Independent doesn't actually say what was in the food, other than using words like "narcotic", "opium as seasoning", "poppy powder".  Total fuckin' confusion.

9.  Don't expect the white bitch who wrote it to issue a clarification, retraction or an apology. She needs the social media following to appear relevant......

Central Escalator vs Alexander

Spotted by FuelMix 20 January 2016 on Craigslist Casual Encounters here in Very Rich Megacity.  Allegedly written by a 45 year old white (?) guy:

Visitors to HK may find that visiting alexander is a waste of money and time. the staff are rude, the patrons uninterested in anyone who isn't asian, and the back rooms are so dark you can't even see who is there and who isn't.
central escalator, on the other hand, is super. nice staff, and friendly guys.
and no, i don't work for CE. i just happen to have found it better by far than the snotty snobby unwelcoming alexander

if you want to know more, mail me.

FuelMix says:
  • Our reviews of Alexander and Central Escalator speak for themselves. Readers can make reach their own conclusions;
  • We have not found staff at Alexander to be rude;
  • We have not found the staff to be uninterested in anyone who isn't Asian. We've seen them assist whites and tourists in the sauna premises, not just from the Front Desk;
  • Back Rooms are supposed to be dark....... that's why it's called the Dark Area.  We suggest eating more carrots to improve night vision......
  • We have written that Alexander's reputation is taking a hit from being saturated with Mainland Chinese;
  • We have been informed by our GAM throats-on-the street, and we have observed, that whites who patronize Central Escalator regularly show up in ABC in Tsim Sha Tsui (where the Dark Area is not that dark by the way.....

We love the way Mainland Chinese think they have the right to do anything they please, wherever they please (and No......we're not talking about the public display of their bodily functions on our streets).

It had been several months since we last hit Alexander.  There we were at the end of the week around 10pm and what did we see..?   Mainland Chinese smuggling bringing cans of beer into Alexander, stashing them in their lockers and swigging them in the Locker Area or in the seating/smoking area near the jacuzzi, or bringing them into the steam room and dry sauna - and then leaving the empty cans there.

The locals just rolled their eyes. We don't know what the management's position is on this.

What do we think..?  For starters, empty beer cans in a dark steam room is a hazard.

Grindr Is Now Chinese Owned **

** Subject to US regulatory approval

A few years ago, we informed our white acquaintances that the time was fast approaching that whites would be working for a Chinese company, and/or using the global services of a Chinese owned company.

We were greeted with taunts that we were anti-white, racist and the  usual whites-in-denial shit.

We present Exhibit A (underlining and bold print by FuelMix):

One of China’s newly minted technology billionaires signed a deal to buy a controlling stake in Grindr, the world’s biggest gay social-networking app.

Beijing Kunlun Tech Co., an Internet games company that helped introduce Angry Birds to China, offered $93 million in cash for 60 percent of New Grindr LLC, the company said in a statement to the Shenzhen stock exchange. Beijing Kunlun Chairman, Zhou Yahui, who became a billionaire after the company listed shares last year, was scouting other potential investments in the U.S., according to a company spokeswoman, Sophie Chen.

Zhou, worth $1.7 billion according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, has overseen seven deals for Kunlun since April -- including Grindr and a minority stake in British mortgage lender LendInvest Ltd. The addition of the mobile app Grindr will broaden its portfolio of services and create a new source of revenue, the company said.......

Changing Culture

“Grindr is the top platform in their area and is mostly known as data-driven, as well as for their great user base,” Chen said in an e-mail. “It’s essential to the Kunlun global Internet eco-sphere.”

Beijing Kunlun’s shares rose by the maximum daily 10 percent limit after it announced the pact. The deal awaits antitrust review by the U.S. government.

“We have taken this investment in our company to accelerate our growth,” Joel Simkhai, founder of Grindr, said in a blog post. “It will generally be business as usual for us here at Grindr, but with a renewed sense of purpose and additional resources.”

Dating apps are struggling to sustain revenue growth, partly because customers tend to stop paying for the service after they find a match. IAC/InterActiveCorp controls the majority of U.S. dating application market share through its ownership of Match, OKCupid and Tinder, while Grindr’s direct competitors include Scruff and Jack’d.

Grindr, which calls itself the world’s largest gay social network, hosts 2 million visitors daily across 196 countries, according to a company fact sheet. The Los Angeles-based mobile app was released in 2009 and matches users based on personal photos and location.

China’s attitude toward homosexuality has undergone a radical transformation in the past decade. Once a facet of Chinese culture among the elite, it was pushed underground during the Communist era, and the Chinese Psychiatric Association officially classified homosexuality as a psychiatric disorder until 2001.

Recently, the gay scene has seen a resurgence. Blued, a domestic gay social-networking app founded by a former police officer, has attracted more than 3 million daily users and secured funding from venture capitalists DCM Ventures.

Presumably those whites and others who state "Sorry No Asians" as "a preference", might consider amending their profiles....???

"Waaahh..!!! FuelMix....!!" squealed one of our friendly GAM throats-on-the-street as he ran up to, hugged and kissed his favourite foreigner "I am so happy to see yoooo...!!"

"Apparently", said FuelMix fazed at the unexpectedly affectionate recognition outside the Versace boutique, whose shop window he was scoping in search of alleged but elusive bargains.

"I went to Big Top Sauna", announced the GAM "and got punched in the face...."

FuelMix's eyes widened....."Yes!!....Look...!!"  He pointed to a bruise on his cheek, "There were so many people there and the Dark Room is soooo dark and crowded, it is only lit by that very little screen, nobody can see other people right in the corner, they all crowd there.....I was trying to get past and wham...!!......Other people were coming in the opposite direction in the pitch dark and I got punched in the face.....and I don't know who did it.....waaaah....!! hurts like hell.....And you know why all this happens...? The overcrowding....? They don't have enough private rooms and they're getting so many people showing up.  So now most people just stand in the Dark Room and try to get action that way.  They need bigger premises and more rooms".

FuelMix nodded.  He'd heard similar complaints. "So I can't sit on your face for a while then...?" he snickered with mock innocence.

"Of course yooooo can la...!!" crooned the GAM, "only gently though....."
