When a gay man decides to become a fag or temporarily act like a fag, the descent into the sub-culture brings distinct behavioural traits. Most notable amongst them is The Trance.
The Trance Matrix
1. When a fag is cruising on the street, he's in a Trance. The gaydar is locked on, peripheral vision is highly selective and usually deletive. Breathing becomes shallower, the pace quickens, decisions are instantaneous, conversation is minimal and often, false.
2. When a fag is in a sauna, the ambient music played, fairly loud, is Trance or Club Mix. The amplified synthesized rhythm is hypnotic. Conversation in the action corridors is useless. Brain wave entrainment takes place, together with the same behaviour seen on the street.
3. Move to the video rooms in the saunas and watch the fags jacking in silence. Their eyes have glazed over. All they see is who they want to see. Rejections and acceptance may be swift or tantalizingly brutal. Several fags will be jacking in unison, surrendering to the group mind.
4. Add amphetamines, crystal meth, cocaine and poppers to the sauna mix, and the audio entrainment from the music is enhanced by chemical and physiological entrainment. The fag is now literally a Slave To The Rhythm and a Slave To Lust. Brain wave patterns have completely altered the fag's personality.
5. The fag is in an Altered State indefinitely, a form of sexually charged bi-polarity. The fag floats somewhere between a meditative acceptance of anonymous eroticism, raging libido and a craving for sexual ecstacy at all costs.
6. Completely detached from mundane reality, trapped by chemical, physiological and emotional entrainment, the fag paradoxically becomes more focused. Promiscuity is punctuated by moments of clarity and poetic lucidity. In the arms of another man, sweat and testosterone trigger the synaptic firings of emotional and spiritual epiphanies.
7. Utterly debauched and/or drug-fucked, the fag feels cleansed, redeemed and pure.
8. Move to the showers and watch the fags just standing under the water. Just standing there. Transfixed.
9. Go to a Fag Rave or a Circuit Party or a White Party or a Black Party the Trance is ubiquitous and de rigeur. Further hooked by the electro-magnetic entrainment of the strobe lights, thousands of zombies ride the elevator down to the basement of the sub-culture.
10. Check out gay media, the porn mags, the streaming vids. Feel the Trance in the stereotyping, the relentless message of casual sex, the incessant cruising, the perpetual music loop in gay porn. The gestalt of gay media is a manipulated marketed subliminal for profit.
11. The behaviour of the fag is similar to that of the zombie. What's frightening is that the fag actually thinks that because he's chosen to immerse himself in the lifestyle, he's actually in control.
He's not. He's a zombie.

Q: What is PrEP?
A: ‘PrEP’ stands for Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis,
an anti-HIV medication that can help stop HIV-negative people from
getting infected by HIV even if they are exposed to HIV. Using the drugs
Truvada (tenofovir and emtricitabine formulate) as its components, the
medicine can prevent HIV from making new virus as it enters the body and
keep the virus from establishing a permanent infection. Please note
that PrEP is not a vaccine that produces HIV antibody in the body, and
it needs to be used consistently over time to reduce the risk of
acquiring HIV. Taking one pill before high risk sex will not protect
you.
Q: Is PrEP effective in preventing HIV?
A:
Yes if used properly. PrEP is proved to be effective in reducing the
risk of acquiring HIV through sex when used consistently with strict
adherence. According to the iPrEx clinical study by the US Department of
Health and Human Services in 2011, the risk of HIV acquisition was
reduced by as much as 96%-99% (CI: 86%-100%) among men who have sex with
men (MSM) who adhered well to PrEP. Studies show that daily doses of
PrEP also reduced HIV transmission among heterosexual serodiscordant
couples (in which one partner is infected with HIV and the other is not)
by 75%.
Please note that the effectiveness of PrEP is highly contingent on the degree of drug adherence of the user. One needs to adhere strictly to the drug regimen to reduce the risk of acquiring HIV.
AIDS

people at high risk of HIV and in particular for demonstration projects

Q: Am I suitable for this medication? Do I need to use condoms as well?
A:
The USA Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and World
Health Organization (WHO) recommend PrEP for people who are HIV-negative
and at substantial risk for HIV infection. The World Health
Organisation recommends that PrEP should be one additional option for
HIV prevention, but did not recommend it to be a substitute for condoms.
Although PrEP is already highly effective in preventing HIV infections,
there are by far a few reported cases where people who adhere to PrEP
have become HIV positive. It should be noted that PrEP is a biomedical
intervention measure, and it may have limitations in preventing
HIV-virus that are already resistant to Truvada. Therefore, people using
PrEP should also continue using condoms when having sex to ensure low
risk of HIV and also other sexually-transmitted diseases. People who
take PrEP should also have HIV and STI testing every 3 months and
receive close monitoring of their medication adherence and risk
behaviors regularly.
Q: Does PrEP have side-effects?
A:
Side effects vary from person to person. Short term side-effects
include headaches, weight loss, diarrhoea, nausea, and fatigue.
Long-term side effects such as kidney dysfunction and decreased bone
mineral density do affect a very small proportion of PrEP users. This is
why medical supervision and follow up tests are important.
In
PrEP studies, use of tenofovir has been associated with small decreases
in key measures of kidney function (creatinine clearance and glomerular
filtration rate, GFR) and 0.4-1.5% loss in bone mineral density,
affecting up to 2% of participants. However, most of their renal
function and bone mineral density was also found to have returned to the
baseline level after withdrawing PrEP use.
PrEP users are
advised to have their health conditions continuously monitored when
taking PrEP, and consult their doctors when necessary.
Q: Is there a possibility of developing drug resistance?
A:
As Truvada is also commonly used in antiretroviral treatment for HIV
positive people, some people are worried that PrEP users would develop
drug resistance to Truvada which could make HIV treatment ineffective if
they become HIV-positive in the future.
Among the 9222 users who
have taken on PrEP in trials, only 11 people developed FTC or
TDF-resistant HIV infection (n=0.1%), and it occurred mainly among
people who were already acutely infected with HIV before initiating
PrEP. In other words, if PrEP users do not adhere well to the drug
regimen and engage in high risk behavior at the same time, unrecognized
and acute HIV infection would expose them to the risk of developing drug
resistance when they continue on taking PrEP.
In order to avoid
the risk of developing drug resistance, PrEP users should adhere
strictly to the drug regimen suggested by the doctor, and have initial
and regular HIV testing to be consistently aware of their HIV status.
Q: How can I use PrEP to effectively prevent HIV?
A:
You should take PrEP daily—take one pill of Truvada each day
consistently. It takes 7-20 days for the different body parts to build
up the drug concentration to prevent HIV depending on what type of
sexual intercourse you are having.
Some people are taking PrEP
before and after sex. This approach needs to be handled carefully as it
takes time for the drug to get to an optimal protection level for your
body. People considering this approach should discuss it seriously with
their doctor.
Q: Is PrEP available in Hong Kong?
A:
PrEP is not yet available in the public health system in Hong Kong.
Some private doctors are prescribing but the cost is quite high, which
is priced at approximately $8000 to $10000 a month. If you want to get
PrEP privately please contact AIDS Concern by telephoning 2898 4411 so
that we can advise you on possible clinics.
AIDS Concern is
advocating for PrEP to become available through the public health
system. Other options are to access PrEP by visiting the Red Cross
clinic in Bangkok. However, we strongly recommend you read the
information about these options later in this information sheet before
considering either of those options. Getting medication like PrEP
without medical supervision can be dangerous for your health.
Q: Some people are going to Thailand to get PrEP. Is this a good idea?
A:
There are a number of providers in Thailand advertising PrEP. However,
if you want to access PrEP it is important that you do so from a
legitimate supplier where you get the necessary medical checks to ensure
that you are safe to take the medication. One reputable supplier is the
Thai Red Cross Research Centre which has a Prep-30 project. Another
clinic which provides PrEP is Sathorn International Clinic. This does

should be noted that the importation of pharmaceutical products and
medicine are controlled under the Import and Export Ordinance (Cap. 60),
thus must be covered by a license issued by Department of Health under

personal baggage of a person entering Hong Kong and which are
accompanied by him and in a reasonable quantity for his personal use may

to get access to PrEP are therefore strongly advised to keep a medical
certificate provided by the prescribing doctor with themselves when they
have to bring PrEP to Hong Kong for personal use.

Q: I would like to buy PrEP from the internet. Is this a good idea?
A: Buying
medication over the internet is a bad idea unless you can be sure that
the supplier is legitimate. Otherwise there is a risk that you may be
given fake pills that do not work or which cause you harm. It is also
important that anyone being prescribed PrEP has medical supervision for
this to happen.
Q: I’ve decided to take PrEP. What do I need to pay heed to?
A: If you do decide to take PrEP, please remember these 3 crucial factors:
– When you start using PrEP, you must absolutely be sure that you do not have HIV to avoid the risk of drug resistance. Get tested at AIDS Concern or Social Hygiene Clinic for free. You may also go to a private clinic for testing;
– Have your blood checked first to ensure that your kidney and liver functions are alright; and
–
Get tested every 3 months for HIV and other STIs, and have your kidney
and liver functions regularly monitored through your doctor.

San Francisco is earning a growing reputation for more than just its unmatched tech sector – for critics, the city stands as a profound example of the damage ultra-liberal policies can do.

San Francisco’s lax attitude is nothing new and has served as a beacon for the American counter-culture dating back to the Beat Generation. But the city’s embrace decades ago of free love and drugs has morphed into something else.
Depending which list you read, San Francisco has the dubious honor of being at or near the top of numerous national surveys tracking homelessness, the cost of housing and other issues. One distinction is not disputed: it has the most property crime in the nation according to the FBI. ..........
And in the media, San Francisco’s brand has taken hits, with headlines such as “Why San Francisco is the Worst Place Ever,” “34 percent of Bay Area Residents are Ready to Leave,” and “Complaints of Syringes and Feces Rise Dramatically in SF.”
Local officials..... contend the city as a whole, with its iconic landmarks and top-notch dining and steep surreal streetscapes shrouded in fog, has not lost its luster.
“San Francisco is a world-class city with tremendous natural beauty and diverse progressive residents,” said Democratic state Rep. David Chiu, of San Francisco. “We value inclusiveness and innovation, which is why so many social justice movements and tech companies have started here. We must be doing something right when 25 million visitors came last year and our economy is thriving.”
Chiu admitted the city faces challenges, which are being addressed with a $300 million bond measure for affordable housing and hundreds of millions more spent to combat homelessness.
Housing indeed represents one of the biggest challenges.........
It is among the wealthiest places in America, where median home value and yearly income are $1.1 million and $84, 160 respectively. In other words, few can afford to live there.
This bubble dates back years.
California as a whole has long put a premium on clean air, open space and modern buildings. But in 1996, San Francisco took a hard left turn with the mayoral election of former state speaker Willie Brown. His ensuing policies increased government, taxation and building regulations while shying away from creating more affordable housing. Brown worked with developer lobbyists he knew from his legislator days to demolish single-room occupancy hotels and other low-income homes, making room for well-heeled dot com workers..........
Within three years, Brown had increased the city budget by $1 billion, or 33 percent. This included new programs, 4,000 new employees, and pay raises to make the existing city workers the highest paid in the state.
He then did away with ordinances against sleeping in public and blocking sidewalks, while counterpart Rudy Giuliani was doing the opposite in a drive that ultimately reversed New York City’s growing crime and blight.
San Francisco District Attorney Terence Hallinan....... also refused to prosecute “victimless” crimes involving drugs and prostitution, saying his focus was on violent crime. The DA’s resistance to taking a hard line against drugs prompted dealers to flood into the city from across the nation, City Journal reported.
Years later, the mindset remains. Smash-and-grab thefts from locked cars are so common that car repair shops have waiting lists. The city does not want to install surveillance cameras, and its aversion to tougher law enforcement had until recently left its police force at 1980s staffing levels.
And there's this: “With a crime rate of 70 per one thousand residents, San Francisco has one of the highest crime rates in America compared to all communities of all sizes,” says the data collection site Neighborhood Scout. “One's chance of becoming a victim of either violent or property crime here is one in 14. Within California, more than 98% of the communities have a lower crime rate than San Francisco.”
On the hazardous waste side, the city is reporting an increase of syringes and feces sightings at 41 and 39 percent, respectively, over 2015 levels. That's just an average. The hardest-hit area reported a 77 percent rise in discarded syringes and a 140 percent rise in feces. The city spends about $2 million a year on urine and feces cleanup.
Despite $9 billion in tourism revenue and $4 billion in tax revenue last year, San Francisco faces a perennial budget deficit in the billions factoring in generous pension costs, the San Francisco Chronicle reported..........

2. And when they do show up, they're strutting around like they're too good for you or flicking through Facebook on their mobile phone. What's the point of coming to a sauna only to play with your phone..??
3. There's no attempt by any of the saunas in this city to distinguish themselves or to raise their game. Oh sure, there's that one that had a door policy based on looks, race, age and body type and the gay guys squealed in delight or protest as the case may be. But how far did that get them..? Everybody is saying they pretty much dumped that policy 'coz they needed the money.
4. That wasn't an attempt to distinguish themselves or to raise their game. It was a cynical attempt at snobbery that appears to have backfired.
5. You kinda wish that the Hong Kong saunas would show some imagination like in Europe.....stuff like gloryhole booths, urinals for watersports action, toilet cubicles with benches for 2 people, discounted entry if you bring your own toys, swimming trunks, underwear or jockstrap nights, bring in porn stars and bodybuilders for meet, greet and grope, do some early afternoon specials.....even a little buffet or live music or bring in a DJ in the Dark Area....
6. You know what would be really wild...? Let gay Transsexuals come to the gay saunas..!! But you limit it to those guys who were born biologically male and still have their penis and scrotum...but they have taken hormone therapy that has given them breasts. And absolutely NO escorts. How amazing would THAT be..??!!
7. Think about it....gym fit guys or muscleboys cruising alongside chicks with dicks...!! Wow..!! I mean transgender procedures are legal in Hong Kong...so why not give these girlyboys the opportunities to show up at the gay saunas..?
8. What's totally killing the excitement of these saunas is the rent. So they're stuck in old buildings, stuck in the same old ways, unable to do anything new.....and the customers look so fuckin' jaded - and the management doesn't give a shit. They just take your money and quote different prices to different people. That's the gay Market Economy for you.
2. The Bars
1. Nah..forget it. It just too late nite...1 a.m. onwards - and those Champagne Brunch bills at 9 a.m. in Central and SoHo really add up. Like the saunas it's the same crowd, except that they come in groups. It's hard to hit on the local guys 'coz they're either in a group, or they're with some older guys or they're standing on the street smoking. It's easier to chat up the tourists who are there alone.
3. The Gay Sports And Social Clubs
1. Yeah, it's nice that they're getting off the ground - but that's when you really see how two-faced these gay assholes are. They'll give you shit and attitude in the bars, ignore you in the saunas, but will wag their tails at you when you're on the same sports team as them and try to be your jock-bro. Gimme a break you dumb faggot....you really think I'm that stupid..??!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA..!!
4. The Cruisy Gay Toilets Around Town
1. Ya know what..? These local Chinese, especially the younger ones, are getting more and more brazen in their cruising. Sometimes it's really surprising. The other day I walked into one toilet, was pissing at the urinal and there were about 10 local GAMs and 3 white guys cruising around. Then without warning, 3 of them huddled into one cubicle - and 2 of them were trying to look under the door and another one was trying to look over the cubicle partition HAHAHAHAHAHA...!!.....and I'm thinking, "sshhhittt.....I don't wanna be around when a totally str8 guys comes in...things might get awkward. Even When They're Dead, They Seem To Be Devious...
1. It's been a while since gay mecca California Fitness hit the news. Disgruntled former customers ended up in other gyms and from street gossip, it would appear Physical picked up a lot of them. That's not surprising since Physical was always rumoured to be the Number 2 gym circuit for GAMs in this city. They're now in "pole" position, so to speak.
2. At the end of November 2016, the High Court of Hong Kong ordered the winding-up of JV Fitness Limited, the holding company of the various California Fitness gyms and yoga centres. This was as a result of its failure to pay a debt of HK$7million to another company in respect of renovation services In total, there were 12 outlets in the city, 64,000 customers and 700 employees. It is alleged that over the last 2 years, JV Fitness had lost over HK$117 Million Dollars. There were also gyms in Singapore, Beijing and Shanghai.
3. It was reported in the South China Morning Post ("SCMP") on 23 November 2016 that the Provisional Liquidator, ShineWing, was in discussions with a potential investor for the purchase of California Fitness assets and that these discussions would continue notwithstanding that the winding-up order had been made.
4. Apparently ShineWing has a Facebook page in which it give updates on the status of California Fitness. Both the English and Chinese versions invited former gym customers to go to another website and "provide their indication" as to whether they would agree to having their personal data sold to help recoup losses.
5. When the SCMP went to that website, it discovered that there was no option to refuse to provide the data.
6. ShineWing claims it was only to gauge interest, but did not give an assurance that those who had already given their agreement for the sale of their data, would be allowed to change their minds if the data were in fact to be sold (and we suspect, they did not give an assurance that other customers' data would not be sold by default).
FuelMix says:
1. LOL...When they were still alive, California Fitness had a reputation for aggressive sales practices, shady dealings and greedy billing. Now that they're "dead", the Liquidator is treading a fine line. According to the SCMP report, the Liquidator is seeking legal advice on this matter and would have to comply with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, the contract terms with its customers and obtain its customers consent before any such data could be transferred to a Third Party.
2. Welcome to the world of Big Data!! FuelMix attended a number of business presentations and was mildly pissed off at the blase attitude of entrepreneurs ("Oh yeah....we keep the Big Data in a separate room which is locked and you need special access to get in...") fascinated and yet repulsed at the lengths to which companies were looking to "granulate" information in order to profile customers. Nobody would say it publicly, but businesses have morphed into commercial spying agencies. The distinction between business research, surveillance and stalking doesn't exist anymore. It's a predatory world.
3. And for California Fitness' customers, therein lies the pain. Having been stripped of their cash, they may run the risk of being stripped (or already having been stripped) of their personal data. Nobody has answered the question:
"What was California Fitness doing with customer data in the 2 years BEFORE they went bankrupt..?"
4. Gay Men Bragging In The Sauna That They're On PrEP

Over the last few months, here in Very Rich Megacity, (and we suspect elsewhere in Western cities with high concentrations of gay men) we've spotted online profiles on Craigslist, chatrooms, escort sites and phone apps where guys seeking M2M hookups gave their stats, a pic and a statement that they were - and are - on PrEP.
2. In several cases the guys have gone further by announcing when they were last checked for STD's (Sexually Transmitted Diseases), their current STD, status - AND that they have their latest STD certificate which they are prepared to show. (In some cases, demanding reciprocal disclosure).
3. Let's be more precise and put it into context. The hookup ads that we saw were from Western tourists visiting Very Rich Megacity. They would have obtained PrEP by prescription from doctors in their home countries.
4. Unless we've missed something, whilst PrEP has been available in Very Rich Megacity since 2014, as at May 2016, PrEP is only available by prescription in private clinics - at a cost of HK$8,500.00 - HK$10,000.00 (US1,080.00 and up) for one month's supply. The cost is not covered by government subsidy and is not covered by private medical insurance. That explains why it isn't the local GAMs mentioning PrEP in their online profiles. They can't afford it. Period.
5. Let's put it into context again. In this city, buying a slice of Viagra (under the counter without a prescription) costs about HK$300.00. Cut it in half and you can get double the mileage.
