Dear Fuel

Im traveling to HK, and searchin[g] in internet for saunas I found your blog. I really liked a lot, I spent a while reading it.  And I found you said about Central Escalator that it was nowadays full of white beefy fat guys. 

Well, Im really into them, mostly the hairy bear like ones!! And I went tonight there lookin for one and I can comment something:

1. There was NONE but one old skinny (maybe a mummy) GWM!! Only found asians, indians and...... even a monkey!
2. I never read that the peak time is after 2pm. And I thought the action would be at night (you know, after work, before sleep)  And nothing!! There were only like 5 peeps, and in counter they told me it would very probably like that the rest of the eve.  So I drank my beer, and after 45 mins of tension I had to leave (asians were very pushy and horrid, including the counter guys :/)
3. And the worst thing is that the CE is HOOOORRRRIIIIBBBBLLLEEE!!!! When I read that it was small and old, I didn’t imagine it would be like sewer or a rat hole in Bangladesh.  Sorry, but [it] is the worst sauna I’ve gone in any country and my life!!! They should put a big bomb and blow it!

Well, I know you may don’t care about anything of this, but, besides my friends, I felt the need to communicate this (and maybe complain) to you since because of your blog is that I ended there and not in other place (like Colony, that the photos of the place show it is a very nice deco place, even with only asians, it would had been cozy at least I guess).

As for finding one GWM, Asians, Indians and even a monkey…[?], Central Escalator has always got a mixed (and now apparently a biologically diverse) crowd.  So no surprise there.

You went at the wrong time.  The full contact details of Central Escalator appear on each post about it.  What stopped you from calling them up and asking what the best time to go was? You chose to make your own assumptions about action being at night. 

Heck, you could even have e-mailed FuelMix like other readers have done asking about potentially good times to go to certain saunas.

In fact, if you read Central Escalator 11, another reader pointed out that he showed up at 5pm and the place was boring.  Yet another reason for you to call them or e-mail the blog.

Whilst some Asians there can be pushy for action, FuelMix has no idea what you mean about the counter guys being pushy and horrid.  Sounds most unlikely.  The counter guys have a well known reputation for being extremely friendly – in fact they’ll even share dinner with you.

You say, “So I drank my beer, and after 45 mins of tension I had to leave”.  FuelMix has never seen beer served at Central Escalator or at any other gay sauna in town.  They would need a liquor license to do that. Are you sure you are being accurate?

As for complaining that the only reason you went there is because of what was written in the blog, had you read the whole series on Central Escalator, you would have clearly noticed how FuelMix’s view of this place has changed over time.  That’s why the entire gay sauna series is valuable – it operates on continuing input from FuelMix AND the readers.

This blog has repeatedly pointed out that showing up at a gay sauna is like going to a casino.  You pay your money and take your chances.
